1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,000 Do you ever feel on top of the world one day and then the very next day you just feel awful? 2 00:00:08,000 --> 00:00:14,500 Well, I've actually had that in the past, especially when I started recording my podcast 3 00:00:14,500 --> 00:00:20,040 and especially once I started making major growth in my personal development journey. 4 00:00:20,040 --> 00:00:28,840 So the first example I remember very well is back in the early days like episode 20 5 00:00:28,840 --> 00:00:38,340 on my podcast. I remember I was really into expanding my comfort zone and I was figuring out different ways to expand my comfort zone. 6 00:00:38,340 --> 00:00:45,840 So the first thing I did was cold email random companies or random local businesses in my area, 7 00:00:45,840 --> 00:00:52,840 which if you question whether that actually expanded my comfort zone, it absolutely did. 8 00:00:52,840 --> 00:01:00,840 Even though it was just an email, it was still outside of my comfort zone. That's how small my comfort zone was at the time. 9 00:01:00,840 --> 00:01:04,840 Literally just like probably a hundred days ago. 10 00:01:04,840 --> 00:01:16,840 And then once that got too easy and I got comfortable with that, I moved on to cold calling and that was like the next jump. 11 00:01:16,840 --> 00:01:21,840 That was like super difficult for me. I remember I was sitting in my basement right here where I'm sitting. 12 00:01:21,840 --> 00:01:27,840 And I was just like looking at my phone, contemplating whether I should actually hit the call button or not. 13 00:01:27,840 --> 00:01:32,840 And then once I actually did hit the call button, I was hoping that they didn't answer. 14 00:01:32,840 --> 00:01:40,840 And I remember the first call that I had. It was I was really nervous. 15 00:01:40,840 --> 00:01:48,840 Like my voice was shaky and I look back at it fondly because I'm just really like proud of the growth that I made. 16 00:01:48,840 --> 00:01:59,840 Literally like four months ago, I was super nervous to even call a random business. 17 00:01:59,840 --> 00:02:10,840 And then once that got too easy, which to be honest, I'm not quite sure if it got really like too easy because I only did it like two or three times. 18 00:02:10,840 --> 00:02:22,840 But the reason why I was doing all this was because I wanted to build funnels, which is like websites. I wanted to build websites for my local businesses in my community. 19 00:02:22,840 --> 00:02:27,840 And no one was like accepting the offer on the phone. 20 00:02:27,840 --> 00:02:39,840 And one person that I called said, oh yeah, well, I mean, I'm not like the manager, but you can like stop by and see it like and talk to us in person. 21 00:02:39,840 --> 00:02:50,840 And so that gave me the idea that, okay, I'm definitely not going to be getting any people accepting this offer that I have on the phone or on email. 22 00:02:50,840 --> 00:03:01,840 And so I decided to start going in person. And the first day that I went in person, that was probably the scariest moment ever. 23 00:03:01,840 --> 00:03:11,840 That was the scariest moment all summer. And I just remember getting like having making the decision. 24 00:03:11,840 --> 00:03:22,840 I was like, I'm going to do it tomorrow. And then tomorrow came and I went to the park with my friend and I was telling him like, yeah, this is something I intend to do. 25 00:03:22,840 --> 00:03:37,840 But and then I listed off a bunch of reasons why I couldn't do it. Just classic trying to resist or trying to steer off course, just classic resistance. 26 00:03:37,840 --> 00:03:43,840 And like throughout that whole time at the park, I'm very grateful because my friend was like really patient. 27 00:03:43,840 --> 00:03:54,840 He basically said, he never like upfront said, you have to do it anyways. He basically like slowly but surely started to tip the scales in me. 28 00:03:54,840 --> 00:04:07,840 And we were meditating during that at that day. It was a really nice day out and we're both shirtless and barefoot at the park and it was really sunny out nice and warm. 29 00:04:07,840 --> 00:04:15,840 And we were just laying on our backs in the grass meditating and I just had one thought in my head like I have to do this but I don't want to. 30 00:04:15,840 --> 00:04:23,840 And then towards the end of the meditation, I got up and we were like getting ready to leave. 31 00:04:23,840 --> 00:04:34,840 And right when I got up from the meditation, he's my friend said like, so what's your, what are you going to do? What's your critical task today? 32 00:04:34,840 --> 00:04:43,840 Because we had, we would always like figure out what the one task is every day that we needed to move forward. 33 00:04:43,840 --> 00:04:56,840 And so he asked me that and then I was like, I'm going to do it. And so from there I decided to, I'm pretty sure I went home and then showered. 34 00:04:56,840 --> 00:05:07,840 And then I got, I was like completely silent the whole entire time I got home. I remember my dad like talking to me and I would give him like one word responses. 35 00:05:07,840 --> 00:05:16,840 And then like I was doing my preparation like trying to figure out what that person's name was, trying to figure out what business to even go to in the first place. 36 00:05:16,840 --> 00:05:23,840 And so after all of a sudden Don and I figured out where I was going. It was this flower shop. 37 00:05:23,840 --> 00:05:33,840 And so I remember like figuring out their address and then getting all my stuff together, getting on my bike. 38 00:05:33,840 --> 00:05:41,840 And my dad was like, I'm pretty sure my dad said like, where are you going? And I was like, flower shop. And then I just left. 39 00:05:41,840 --> 00:05:46,840 Like I didn't explain anything because I just wanted, I was just locked in. 40 00:05:46,840 --> 00:05:54,840 Like I knew that one moment of doubt and I would have just not done it. 41 00:05:54,840 --> 00:06:01,840 And so I was just avoiding that doubt at all costs and literally just not even thinking about anything except for doing it. 42 00:06:01,840 --> 00:06:14,840 And I was like shaking the whole time. And I remember when I like, when I told my dad where I was going, he was like, I was just like, I remember my voice was like terrified. 43 00:06:14,840 --> 00:06:21,840 And so on the bike ride there, I biked all the way down. I was like thinking I was just so nervous. 44 00:06:21,840 --> 00:06:32,840 My feet, I remember one time my feet got like light just because I was like getting really nervous and like my stomach was dropping sometimes. 45 00:06:32,840 --> 00:06:41,840 Super nerve wracking. And I made it there. I biked there and I arrived at the shop. 46 00:06:41,840 --> 00:06:49,840 It was a flower shop in my town and I like tried to go in and there was a sign on the door. 47 00:06:49,840 --> 00:06:57,840 It said we're closed until like, and it gave a date, which was probably like three weeks later. 48 00:06:57,840 --> 00:07:10,840 And there was two like sides to the reaction. There was one side where I was relieved, but then like a smaller side where I was a little disappointed because I knew this was going to be a big like change in my 49 00:07:10,840 --> 00:07:20,840 is going to be a turning point in my life because I discovered during the summer while I was doing all these comfort zone challenges. 50 00:07:20,840 --> 00:07:37,840 I discovered that the like when you expand your comfort zone and you have like when you do something that expands your comfort zone immensely like that did to the point where you're like almost paralyzed in act into inaction. 51 00:07:37,840 --> 00:07:44,840 And you actually like conquer that fear. That's a huge turning point in your life. 52 00:07:44,840 --> 00:07:53,840 And so the like outside of me was relieved that I didn't have to do it. 53 00:07:53,840 --> 00:08:01,840 And then another side of me was disappointed. And to be honest, the disappointed was like way buried down inside of me. 54 00:08:01,840 --> 00:08:19,840 Like I was mostly relieved. And then I like walked around the corner trying to figure out just walking aimlessly because I was like, well, should I go home and call it a day and do it again tomorrow or should I actually go find another place. 55 00:08:19,840 --> 00:08:35,840 And so after a little bit of contemplation, I decided to go find another place and I found another flower shop just on the other side of town. And this time I biked all the way there and I have like, I'm a really sweaty person. 56 00:08:35,840 --> 00:08:40,840 So and it was hot out and I was just sweating. I remember I was wearing a black shirt. 57 00:08:40,840 --> 00:08:51,840 I always wear a black shirt because I don't like the I get a lot. I get really bad pit stains. So I always wear a black shirt to hide the pit stains. 58 00:08:51,840 --> 00:09:03,840 But I but because of that, I have to wear gray shorts or white shorts because I like to have like opposite colors. 59 00:09:03,840 --> 00:09:14,840 And so I was like biking all the way down and I was already sweaty, but I had to bike all the way across town. And I was just like drenched by the time I got there. 60 00:09:14,840 --> 00:09:26,840 I had to like quickly cool off. I locked my bike. And then I was like looking at the place and I crossed the street over to it and I was just like so nervous. 61 00:09:26,840 --> 00:09:36,840 I remember like right when I got to the door and I knew that it was for real because I saw people inside. I like my stomach dropped so much. 62 00:09:36,840 --> 00:09:44,840 And like, I just lost all consciousness. Not really, but it was almost as if my brain was just clouded. 63 00:09:44,840 --> 00:09:53,840 Like I didn't just didn't exist anymore. And I was just on autopilot. It was like a really weird. 64 00:09:53,840 --> 00:10:07,840 I was like falling asleep to protect myself. And so I like walked in and I remember like walking up to the person and I was like, I knew her name. 65 00:10:07,840 --> 00:10:13,840 And so because I looked it up and I was like, but there was like two workers there and I didn't know which one was her. 66 00:10:13,840 --> 00:10:23,840 And so I was like, as Elizabeth here, and I was like extremely nervous. I was literally like shaking in my voice. And I was talking to her. 67 00:10:23,840 --> 00:10:28,840 She liked the person I was talking to was the person I needed to talk to. And she was like, oh yeah. 68 00:10:28,840 --> 00:10:38,840 But she kind of, I could tell that she didn't really have any time because she was like dealing with a client or a customer. 69 00:10:38,840 --> 00:10:48,840 So I waited for her to finish dealing with a customer and then I like started to talk to her and then I was talking and I was just really nervous. 70 00:10:48,840 --> 00:11:00,840 And I just wanted to get out of there. Just wanted to get out of there. So what I did was I was just like, okay, well, can you like do you want my my email or my number? 71 00:11:00,840 --> 00:11:10,840 And she was like, yeah, sure. No, she asked me that because she didn't want like me there anymore, but she wanted to like end the conversation respectfully. 72 00:11:10,840 --> 00:11:14,840 And so she was like, oh yeah, can I just get your number because I'm a little busy right now. 73 00:11:14,840 --> 00:11:19,840 And so I gave her my number and she wrote it down and then I left. 74 00:11:19,840 --> 00:11:24,840 And then I remember like walking away because I was wearing gray shorts. 75 00:11:24,840 --> 00:11:37,840 I remember walking away like sideways because I knew that my gray shorts were stained, like not stained, but I had like sweat along my butt on my shorts. 76 00:11:37,840 --> 00:11:41,840 So then I left and that was like the craziest thing ever. 77 00:11:41,840 --> 00:11:48,840 And then I was like, okay, that helped me expand my comfort comfort zone. 78 00:11:48,840 --> 00:11:56,840 And then I wanted to go and do it again. So I did it. I made a deal with myself and I was doing it one, like I was doing it once a day, every day. 79 00:11:56,840 --> 00:12:02,840 So I went to different places, similar experiences, just rejection. 80 00:12:02,840 --> 00:12:09,840 But at that point, I wasn't really doing it for the like building the website anymore. I was just doing it for the comfort zone. 81 00:12:09,840 --> 00:12:17,840 And so it got to the point where I was like, okay, this is kind of getting this is going to get too easy soon. 82 00:12:17,840 --> 00:12:25,840 Because I created a framework and I discovered that it usually takes about like five times to do something once a day for five days. 83 00:12:25,840 --> 00:12:32,840 And then after five days of doing it every day, then it's going to be inside your comfort zone or at least really close. 84 00:12:32,840 --> 00:12:37,840 And at this time, it was probably like four, three or four times already. 85 00:12:37,840 --> 00:12:41,840 And so I was like, okay, what's the next step because I really want to expand my comfort zone again. 86 00:12:41,840 --> 00:12:47,840 And I decided I realized that it was to cold approach girls and like ask for their numbers. 87 00:12:47,840 --> 00:12:53,840 And so I talked to my friend about it, the same person who said, I got to do it anyways. 88 00:12:53,840 --> 00:13:02,840 The same person I was at the park with Meditain. I talked to him and we both decided to go and we were both extremely scared. 89 00:13:02,840 --> 00:13:11,840 But I was at such an advantage because I had just expanded my comfort zone so much. So I kind of knew what the feelings were. 90 00:13:11,840 --> 00:13:14,840 And I knew that all I had to do was just push through. 91 00:13:14,840 --> 00:13:23,840 And so we went to the mall and asked like maybe 10 girls for their numbers each. 92 00:13:23,840 --> 00:13:27,840 And the last girl, I got her number. 93 00:13:27,840 --> 00:13:35,840 And so that was like an awesome experience. I'm pretty sure I talked about it on like episode 20 or 21, either one. 94 00:13:35,840 --> 00:13:41,840 And then I remember like that I was like super high energy. I was so hype. 95 00:13:41,840 --> 00:13:46,840 We were like screaming and yelling and getting like we're explosive. 96 00:13:46,840 --> 00:13:53,840 And then the next day when I woke up, I just had extremely low energy. 97 00:13:53,840 --> 00:13:59,840 Like I was on top of the world yesterday. And then the next morning I was super low energy. 98 00:13:59,840 --> 00:14:05,840 And like my podcast was bad the next day and all of that. 99 00:14:05,840 --> 00:14:10,840 And so that's like the first example of me being on top of the world. 100 00:14:10,840 --> 00:14:16,840 And then the next moment, like the next day I was like low. 101 00:14:16,840 --> 00:14:28,840 And this had happened a few times since that day. And it tended to happen like literally the day after going to the mall and expanding my comfort zone often. 102 00:14:28,840 --> 00:14:34,840 And so we ended up doing the mall three times and then we kind of just stopped doing it. 103 00:14:34,840 --> 00:14:41,840 But that's like, that's a story that I like to tell because I'm relating it to today. 104 00:14:41,840 --> 00:14:48,840 Yesterday I was like feeling pretty good because I was on episode 100. 105 00:14:48,840 --> 00:14:54,840 I just got to 100 episodes, triple digits, huge accomplishment for a podcaster. 106 00:14:54,840 --> 00:15:00,840 That means I'm probably in like the top 0.1% or something like that of podcasts. 107 00:15:00,840 --> 00:15:09,840 And then like today I woke up and I was like just my normal tiredness. 108 00:15:09,840 --> 00:15:14,840 Just like a little bit lost focus but nothing really out of the ordinary when I woke up. 109 00:15:14,840 --> 00:15:20,840 And I like did my morning routine and today there was no school. 110 00:15:20,840 --> 00:15:28,840 So I decided that I was going to go to the park and do cardio because I haven't done cardio in a long time. 111 00:15:28,840 --> 00:15:31,840 And that's something that is definitely affecting my health negatively. 112 00:15:31,840 --> 00:15:40,840 And like that's the one thing I need to do to like get my health back up and get my focus and all that stuff back. 113 00:15:40,840 --> 00:15:44,840 And so I decided that I was going to go to the park and do cardio. 114 00:15:44,840 --> 00:15:50,840 But before that I was like on my parents' bed wrestling with my dog just playing with her. 115 00:15:50,840 --> 00:15:58,840 And I was like, she had a ball in her mouth and I was like laying on my side trying to pull the ball out. 116 00:15:58,840 --> 00:16:11,840 And I was like holding, you know how when you are tugging hard on something and then it finally gives and like all that momentum sends your arm flying. 117 00:16:11,840 --> 00:16:17,840 Well it was a moment like that where I was tugging. I was like trying to pull the ball out of my dog's mouth. 118 00:16:17,840 --> 00:16:26,840 And then I like literally smashed like she released the ball and then I smashed my nose like with my hand. 119 00:16:26,840 --> 00:16:35,840 So I basically punched myself in the nose and then like I have a weak nose where literally I get nosebleeds fairly often. 120 00:16:35,840 --> 00:16:40,840 Especially during the change of like temperature when it gets dry. 121 00:16:40,840 --> 00:16:52,840 And so I knew that I definitely was going to get a nosebleed because even times where I just like tap my nose like or bump it a little bit. 122 00:16:52,840 --> 00:17:02,840 I tend to get nosebleeds like my nose is really weak. I remember one time I was in gym class and we had a sub and we were in the wrestling room for our gym class. 123 00:17:02,840 --> 00:17:18,840 And so we were just doing nothing and me and a group of like guys were getting like rowdy and we, I wrestled this one dude because everyone wanted to see who would win a match between me and this other guy in wrestling. 124 00:17:18,840 --> 00:17:33,840 And I had to prove myself so we wrestled and I ended up winning but he like I like bumped my nose on something and got a nosebleed and so I had to like run to the bathroom. 125 00:17:33,840 --> 00:17:37,840 So like my, I have a really weak nose. 126 00:17:37,840 --> 00:17:52,840 And so going back to the story this morning when I like hit myself in the nose, I like knew that it was coming. So I instantly like started to hold my hand under my nose to catch like the blood and ran to the bathroom. 127 00:17:52,840 --> 00:18:03,840 And the blood was gushing out like this morning the blood was like actually gushing out like more, more often or more, more than usual. 128 00:18:03,840 --> 00:18:09,840 And so I was like trying, I was like blowing it out trying to like get it all out as quick as possible. 129 00:18:09,840 --> 00:18:14,840 And then I eventually like actually tried to clog it to actually get it to clog. 130 00:18:14,840 --> 00:18:20,840 And I was just sitting there for a few minutes just like blood flowing out of my nose. 131 00:18:20,840 --> 00:18:24,840 And so eventually it ended and I didn't really think anything of it. 132 00:18:24,840 --> 00:18:33,840 I just like cleaned up the area and then I filled up my water bottle and then left to go to the park. 133 00:18:33,840 --> 00:18:37,840 And so I like ran or I biked to the park. 134 00:18:37,840 --> 00:18:48,840 And then once I got to the park, I remember there was like moments where I was like feeling a little like dazed, but not really that bad. 135 00:18:48,840 --> 00:18:51,840 I just assumed it was because I was out of shape. 136 00:18:51,840 --> 00:18:57,840 And so I did my sprints. I just like once I got there, I decided to do 10 sprints. 137 00:18:57,840 --> 00:19:04,840 And like some of them were just across the soccer field the short way. 138 00:19:04,840 --> 00:19:09,840 Some of them were there in back. Some of them were diagonal across the soccer field. 139 00:19:09,840 --> 00:19:13,840 Some of them were all the way across the park and back. 140 00:19:13,840 --> 00:19:16,840 So like they were varied in lengths and distances. 141 00:19:16,840 --> 00:19:18,840 And I was there for like 45 minutes. 142 00:19:18,840 --> 00:19:25,840 I got a pretty good workout in and then for the last sprint on once I got to my 10th sprint, 143 00:19:25,840 --> 00:19:29,840 I decided to go all the way across the park and all the way back. 144 00:19:29,840 --> 00:19:31,840 So it was pretty far sprint. 145 00:19:31,840 --> 00:19:39,840 And like that was I was like catching my breath for quite some time because I'm out of shape. 146 00:19:39,840 --> 00:19:49,840 And so then I like this whole time when I was at the park, I just kind of felt like, you know, head rushes. 147 00:19:49,840 --> 00:19:53,840 Like when you are laying down for a long time and you get up too quick. 148 00:19:53,840 --> 00:19:57,840 I kind of felt like that, but it was just like a instant moment. 149 00:19:57,840 --> 00:20:01,840 It was just like a zoom and then it went back to normal. 150 00:20:01,840 --> 00:20:03,840 And I didn't really think much of it. 151 00:20:03,840 --> 00:20:14,840 And then I bike home from the park and when I got home, I was like, I took a shower, my normal cold shower. 152 00:20:14,840 --> 00:20:20,840 And when I was in the cold shower, I just felt like not normal. 153 00:20:20,840 --> 00:20:25,840 It was weird because I just thought that I was like getting sick or something. 154 00:20:25,840 --> 00:20:31,840 Because when I was taking my cold shower, it was cold, but I wasn't really healing. 155 00:20:31,840 --> 00:20:37,840 Like, you know how when you take a cold shower, you can feel the shock and you can like feel it the whole time. 156 00:20:37,840 --> 00:20:43,840 Yeah, I felt it and I felt the shock, but it was just kind of like dimmed or dampened. 157 00:20:43,840 --> 00:20:48,840 And so I finished the shower and then I was like, oh my gosh. 158 00:20:48,840 --> 00:20:51,840 And I was like really, I was really tired. 159 00:20:51,840 --> 00:20:54,840 And so I like went into the back couch. 160 00:20:54,840 --> 00:20:56,840 It was like 10 o'clock at this time. 161 00:20:56,840 --> 00:21:03,840 I went to the back couch and turned on the heater because we have like this portable heater that heats. 162 00:21:03,840 --> 00:21:05,840 It sounds like heat out. 163 00:21:05,840 --> 00:21:11,840 And then we, I literally just sat there for like two hours just sitting there thinking. 164 00:21:11,840 --> 00:21:14,840 I don't like use my phone and I wasn't like reading or anything. 165 00:21:14,840 --> 00:21:18,840 I was just sitting there staring blankly at the heater. 166 00:21:18,840 --> 00:21:28,840 And then like I fell asleep and I was like, I was falling asleep and then sitting there and then just laying there with my eyes closed. 167 00:21:28,840 --> 00:21:30,840 Like all kinds of things. 168 00:21:30,840 --> 00:21:32,840 And I was just so tired to get up. 169 00:21:32,840 --> 00:21:36,840 And then when all was said and done, four hours passed. 170 00:21:36,840 --> 00:21:39,840 Like I was just, and I wasn't sleeping the whole time. 171 00:21:39,840 --> 00:21:44,840 I was just like laying there kind of with my eyes closed. 172 00:21:44,840 --> 00:21:52,840 And then I was also just standing like sitting there with my eyes open just staring blankly and like deep thought or something like that. 173 00:21:52,840 --> 00:21:57,840 And so four hours passed and I was like, okay, something's definitely up. 174 00:21:57,840 --> 00:22:02,840 And I was like this whole time I thought I was getting sick and my mind was like weak. 175 00:22:02,840 --> 00:22:05,840 My mental control was a little weak. 176 00:22:05,840 --> 00:22:08,840 So I wasn't really applying principles of Transurfing. 177 00:22:08,840 --> 00:22:10,840 I was just kind of like indifferent. 178 00:22:10,840 --> 00:22:12,840 I wasn't really thinking negatively or positively. 179 00:22:12,840 --> 00:22:14,840 So I was just a little indifferent. 180 00:22:14,840 --> 00:22:19,840 So I was kind of applying Transurfing principles but not too much. 181 00:22:19,840 --> 00:22:28,840 And so I made it to like towards the end I was like, what is going on with me? 182 00:22:28,840 --> 00:22:29,840 Like what happened? 183 00:22:29,840 --> 00:22:32,840 Like why am I so tired right now? 184 00:22:32,840 --> 00:22:38,840 And then this like thought instantly just popped into my mind and I remembered about the bloody nose. 185 00:22:38,840 --> 00:22:44,840 And so I was like, oh, maybe I'm like maybe I lost a lot of blood. 186 00:22:44,840 --> 00:22:50,840 And so I have an Alexa on my back like behind my back couch. 187 00:22:50,840 --> 00:22:52,840 And so I was like, okay. 188 00:22:52,840 --> 00:22:58,840 And I asked Alexa what are the symptoms of like blood loss? 189 00:22:58,840 --> 00:23:05,840 And it was like dizziness like and yellowing of skin, yellowing of eyes. 190 00:23:05,840 --> 00:23:09,840 I don't think I had the yellowing of skin and I didn't check my eyes. 191 00:23:09,840 --> 00:23:11,840 But I may have had dizziness. 192 00:23:11,840 --> 00:23:16,840 And I wasn't really dizzy, but I was just like super dazed. 193 00:23:16,840 --> 00:23:20,840 And so from there I just made the conclusion that I just had blood loss. 194 00:23:20,840 --> 00:23:24,840 I lost some blood because I had an option. 195 00:23:24,840 --> 00:23:31,840 I could either say that I was sick or I could decide that I lost some blood and I would just recover quickly. 196 00:23:31,840 --> 00:23:33,840 So I decided that I lost some blood. 197 00:23:33,840 --> 00:23:40,840 And I asked Alexa like what to do. 198 00:23:40,840 --> 00:23:44,840 I asked the Alexa like a few questions. 199 00:23:44,840 --> 00:23:50,840 I was like, what do you do after or how do you recover from blood loss? 200 00:23:50,840 --> 00:23:58,840 And she said, you drink like more water and then you eat foods high in iron. 201 00:23:58,840 --> 00:24:07,840 And I was already drinking more water because I was just like, I didn't like know to drink more water, but I was already drinking more water. 202 00:24:07,840 --> 00:24:18,840 And at this point of time, I got up like before I figured out about my, like, okay, let's rewind the story. 203 00:24:18,840 --> 00:24:27,840 I forgot to tell you that after four hours passed, I got up and started to cook my lunch. 204 00:24:27,840 --> 00:24:28,840 And it was burgers. 205 00:24:28,840 --> 00:24:38,840 And usually I had burgers and then chicken breasts, but today I decided just to eat burgers because I had been bulking for a few weeks straight now. 206 00:24:38,840 --> 00:24:43,840 And yesterday or two days ago, I think I ate too much too quick. 207 00:24:43,840 --> 00:24:47,840 And so I had like that feeling in my stomach where it was like exploding. 208 00:24:47,840 --> 00:24:51,840 And then yesterday it carried on and then this morning it carried on. 209 00:24:51,840 --> 00:24:55,840 So I decided to kind of eat less calories than normal. 210 00:24:55,840 --> 00:24:59,840 And so I just had burgers today. 211 00:24:59,840 --> 00:25:07,840 And I finished cooking the burgers and went to the back couch and sat down and then figured out about my blood thing. 212 00:25:07,840 --> 00:25:13,840 And then I asked Alexa how to recover, drink water and then high iron food. 213 00:25:13,840 --> 00:25:21,840 And so I was like, oh, well, I'm drinking a lot of water and I don't know what foods have a lot of iron. 214 00:25:21,840 --> 00:25:29,840 So I asked Alexa if ground beef is high in iron and she said, yeah, it's really high in iron. 215 00:25:29,840 --> 00:25:33,840 So I had like the perfect recovery meal. 216 00:25:33,840 --> 00:25:41,840 So I finished eating that during some more water and I was still like super dazed, super like tired. 217 00:25:41,840 --> 00:25:47,840 And so I like just laid back down on the couch for another couple hours. 218 00:25:47,840 --> 00:25:55,840 I remember just sitting there like there's this one thought that is like consuming my mind over the past couple weeks. 219 00:25:55,840 --> 00:26:08,840 And it's that first of all, my podcast may be too long and length because daily one hour episodes is like very taxing. 220 00:26:08,840 --> 00:26:14,840 And it's also difficult to come up with enough to say in one hour for one hour every day. 221 00:26:14,840 --> 00:26:24,840 And it's also in a couple weeks, I'm going to vacation and I want to have that entire week just to rest and not do any podcasting. 222 00:26:24,840 --> 00:26:34,840 So I want to prepare for and record seven extra episodes so I can have all of those days like scheduled episodes for. 223 00:26:34,840 --> 00:26:42,840 So that means I have to do double episode days like for seven days or I have to do like triple episode days or quadruple episode days like all that. 224 00:26:42,840 --> 00:26:48,840 And that also means that I have to come up with like seven hours worth of content to say. 225 00:26:48,840 --> 00:26:52,840 And I've just been struggling to say one hour of content every day. 226 00:26:52,840 --> 00:26:57,840 So I was sitting on the back couch and I was like, I really do not want to podcast today. 227 00:26:57,840 --> 00:27:00,840 Like I want to take a rest day and I could, I absolutely couldn't. 228 00:27:00,840 --> 00:27:03,840 And this is today, by the way, a couple hours ago. 229 00:27:03,840 --> 00:27:12,840 I absolutely could have skipped today because I have seven episodes, or I will today it's six episodes scheduled. 230 00:27:12,840 --> 00:27:17,840 But once I'm finished recording this episode, I have seven episodes scheduled ahead of time. 231 00:27:17,840 --> 00:27:20,840 So I could have taken a rest day today. 232 00:27:20,840 --> 00:27:25,840 But then I was like, well, but that that means that I'm going to have to do another double episode day to compensate. 233 00:27:25,840 --> 00:27:33,840 So I just figured that I was just going to tough it out and record anyways. 234 00:27:33,840 --> 00:27:42,840 And the once I I was just laying there on the back couch and I kept on asking Alexa what time it was. 235 00:27:42,840 --> 00:27:51,840 And then the time like passed by and by and I knew that I had to get up from the couch by 230 in order to actually get to bed in time. 236 00:27:51,840 --> 00:27:57,840 Because that's how long it takes me to record and post and then like edit and stuff. 237 00:27:57,840 --> 00:28:00,840 Or also to meditate beforehand. 238 00:28:00,840 --> 00:28:05,840 And today I wanted to get, I wanted to get done. 239 00:28:05,840 --> 00:28:12,840 I want to get, I wanted to get to bed early because I'm like super tired and I feel like it would be beneficial to get to bed early. 240 00:28:12,840 --> 00:28:19,840 So I decided to get up at like two o'clock and I went to meditate. 241 00:28:19,840 --> 00:28:21,840 And it was actually a pretty good meditation. 242 00:28:21,840 --> 00:28:26,840 I was expecting my like brain to fall asleep the whole time. 243 00:28:26,840 --> 00:28:28,840 But it was the opposite. 244 00:28:28,840 --> 00:28:30,840 Like my body fell asleep perfectly. 245 00:28:30,840 --> 00:28:35,840 Like that was one of the deepest sleep that my body's been in in meditation. 246 00:28:35,840 --> 00:28:41,840 And then I was like, I had fair amount of control over my thoughts. 247 00:28:41,840 --> 00:28:43,840 Like I was pretty focused. 248 00:28:43,840 --> 00:28:48,840 Like I didn't really lose focus and fall asleep at all throughout that whole meditation. 249 00:28:48,840 --> 00:28:58,840 And it also helped that for the past like couple of weeks, I've been doing the same tape on the gateway experience during my meditation. 250 00:28:58,840 --> 00:29:01,840 I've been doing the same tape over and over and over again. 251 00:29:01,840 --> 00:29:05,840 And it's, I'm not doing it for like that specific tape. 252 00:29:05,840 --> 00:29:09,840 Like the tape is meant for asking questions to your higher self. 253 00:29:09,840 --> 00:29:16,840 But I always just use it just for my own purposes and ignore everything that Bob Monroe says. 254 00:29:16,840 --> 00:29:18,840 And so that kind of got like old. 255 00:29:18,840 --> 00:29:22,840 And I switched to the one month patterning today. 256 00:29:22,840 --> 00:29:29,840 And I went through that whole thing and I was, I was very like focused and concentrated. 257 00:29:29,840 --> 00:29:37,840 And so mind you, this whole time I'm like still like lightheaded or not lightheaded, but like dazed. 258 00:29:37,840 --> 00:29:42,840 And so I, it was just getting time to get out of the meditation. 259 00:29:42,840 --> 00:29:48,840 And I was like, okay, I know like my current state that my body is in. 260 00:29:48,840 --> 00:29:57,840 And so I got up and I was like really slow with getting up because I didn't want to like get a head rush. 261 00:29:57,840 --> 00:30:01,840 And I didn't want to like mess. 262 00:30:01,840 --> 00:30:04,840 Like I didn't want to hurt myself. 263 00:30:04,840 --> 00:30:16,840 So I got up very slowly and I like sat down and just like, um, just got myself oriented. 264 00:30:16,840 --> 00:30:22,840 And then I stood up and everything was still like a little dazed. 265 00:30:22,840 --> 00:30:27,840 And then I stood up, went into my closet to put my blanket and my pillow away. 266 00:30:27,840 --> 00:30:33,840 And I had like this moment of normalness and then it went back to like dazed. 267 00:30:33,840 --> 00:30:37,840 And I was like, okay, I got it. I got to go downstairs and record. 268 00:30:37,840 --> 00:30:42,840 And I was, I walked downstairs and I was trying to figure out what to say for today's episode. 269 00:30:42,840 --> 00:30:48,840 Because I always come downstairs and take some, like write down some notes for what to say. 270 00:30:48,840 --> 00:30:58,840 And surprisingly I actually came up with a lot of notes today because there, I'm like, my TikTok is growing like linearly right now. 271 00:30:58,840 --> 00:31:03,840 So I'm gaining like two to five followers every day right now. 272 00:31:03,840 --> 00:31:07,840 As of recording this, I have 29 followers on my TikTok. 273 00:31:07,840 --> 00:31:14,840 And so I'm growing linearly and that means I'm getting some comments and some likes. 274 00:31:14,840 --> 00:31:22,840 And a lot of times I go on my TikTok and check the comments for inspiration on what to say for today's episode. 275 00:31:22,840 --> 00:31:29,840 There was one person who posted or commented on one of my episodes where I was talking about limiting beliefs. 276 00:31:29,840 --> 00:31:32,840 And she asked like, for more limiting beliefs. 277 00:31:32,840 --> 00:31:38,840 And so that is what I'm doing right now. 278 00:31:38,840 --> 00:31:43,840 And let's get into the limiting beliefs because I just talked about the first two things of notes. 279 00:31:43,840 --> 00:31:48,840 And then the last thing of note is all about limiting beliefs. 280 00:31:48,840 --> 00:31:57,840 And so the way I define limiting beliefs is beliefs that one has that limits their success. 281 00:31:57,840 --> 00:31:59,840 So just think about that. 282 00:31:59,840 --> 00:32:06,840 If you have certain beliefs and beliefs are something that like more or less you choose to maintain and you choose to have. 283 00:32:06,840 --> 00:32:10,840 Like you can, you have some control over your beliefs. 284 00:32:10,840 --> 00:32:15,840 It may take a little bit to actually overcome them and acquire new ones. 285 00:32:15,840 --> 00:32:18,840 Like you definitely can change your beliefs. 286 00:32:18,840 --> 00:32:25,840 And so if you have beliefs that are keeping you down, like there was one concept that I talked about a couple. 287 00:32:25,840 --> 00:32:30,840 I don't know how long ago, but I talked about on my podcast before. 288 00:32:30,840 --> 00:32:37,840 I basically drew a big circle on a piece of paper and I said like that's your limits. 289 00:32:37,840 --> 00:32:41,840 Like that's your true capacity, like that big circle. 290 00:32:41,840 --> 00:32:44,840 Let's say that's like 100 meters in diameter. 291 00:32:44,840 --> 00:32:47,840 So it's 100 meters wide. 292 00:32:47,840 --> 00:32:57,840 And then I drew like a tiny little circle in the middle and it was like a quarter of a centimeter wide in diameter. 293 00:32:57,840 --> 00:33:04,840 So you have this massive circle and then you have this tiny little circle you can't even see. 294 00:33:04,840 --> 00:33:08,840 And I labeled that tiny little circle. 295 00:33:08,840 --> 00:33:12,840 You're like what you think your limits are. 296 00:33:12,840 --> 00:33:15,840 So your perception for limits. 297 00:33:15,840 --> 00:33:26,840 And it's, I'm learning that it's actually that tiny little circle is like what's, it's like what's programmed into us by society. 298 00:33:26,840 --> 00:33:36,840 Like the school system is a big culprit that basically programs you to have small beliefs. 299 00:33:36,840 --> 00:33:43,840 And so if you have that tiny little circle is what your current like beliefs think you're capable of. 300 00:33:43,840 --> 00:33:46,840 And then that massive circle is what you're actually capable of. 301 00:33:46,840 --> 00:33:54,840 That means that you have limiting beliefs that are limiting like 99.9% of your potential. 302 00:33:54,840 --> 00:33:56,840 So it would make sense. 303 00:33:56,840 --> 00:34:00,840 And okay, the nature of beliefs like you can change your beliefs. 304 00:34:00,840 --> 00:34:02,840 You can actually control that. 305 00:34:02,840 --> 00:34:08,840 So it makes sense to want to actually expand that tiny little circle, right? 306 00:34:08,840 --> 00:34:20,840 And that's like what I've been on a mission to do because I understood that I had a tiny circle and I had the potential to a massive circle of beliefs. 307 00:34:20,840 --> 00:34:27,840 And so I realized that your limiting beliefs is what's keeping you restricted. 308 00:34:27,840 --> 00:34:31,840 It's what is keeping you like in that small circle. 309 00:34:31,840 --> 00:34:44,840 And the comment of that person made on my post was like she wanted to learn more about more limiting beliefs and how to destroy them. 310 00:34:44,840 --> 00:34:51,840 Because my post was about how to, it was about the fact that you're limiting your own potential through your beliefs. 311 00:34:51,840 --> 00:34:56,840 And it was also about like you, there's two steps. 312 00:34:56,840 --> 00:34:59,840 You have to actually discover your limiting beliefs and then you have to destroy them. 313 00:34:59,840 --> 00:35:03,840 And I didn't really give much more than that. 314 00:35:03,840 --> 00:35:07,840 And she asked like about more. 315 00:35:07,840 --> 00:35:14,840 And so what I did or what I'm doing now is I'm talking about more. 316 00:35:14,840 --> 00:35:24,840 So for when I was writing my notes for today's episode, I was doing a little research because I was trying to figure out like what different limiting beliefs there are. 317 00:35:24,840 --> 00:35:35,840 I was brainstorming and then I was also looking it up online and a few of the things that I came up with were the fear of is a limiting belief. 318 00:35:35,840 --> 00:35:39,840 So like fear of death, failure or rejection. 319 00:35:39,840 --> 00:35:40,840 That's a limiting belief. 320 00:35:40,840 --> 00:35:46,840 So going back to the story of how I went to the mall and like asked for girls numbers. 321 00:35:46,840 --> 00:35:58,840 Like the fear of rejection is something that tends to like be a big preventer for people actually doing that. 322 00:35:58,840 --> 00:36:02,840 Now I was aware that I didn't really care about success in that case. 323 00:36:02,840 --> 00:36:05,840 It was just for the comfort zone. 324 00:36:05,840 --> 00:36:08,840 So I'm not quite sure what my fear was. 325 00:36:08,840 --> 00:36:15,840 Maybe it was just like fear of death because it was something foreign and it was like your limiting beliefs are like a survival mechanism. 326 00:36:15,840 --> 00:36:18,840 You have them to keep you alive. 327 00:36:18,840 --> 00:36:22,840 Like your brain thinks that it's actually helping you to survive. 328 00:36:22,840 --> 00:36:30,840 And so it could potentially be my fear of death kicking in that prevented me from actually walking up to a girl and asking for a number. 329 00:36:30,840 --> 00:36:39,840 So and that's it may sound like crazy because the fear of death is like quite a big thing just for a small little action like that. 330 00:36:39,840 --> 00:36:41,840 But that's how it works. 331 00:36:41,840 --> 00:36:46,840 Like I said society like implants all these limiting beliefs fear of death is one of the big ones. 332 00:36:46,840 --> 00:36:53,840 And I was reading a book about like dying called die wise and I only got like a third of the way done. 333 00:36:53,840 --> 00:36:56,840 And I was talking about it on episode 99. 334 00:36:56,840 --> 00:37:04,840 And I remember it may potentially be because I couldn't handle that book yet. 335 00:37:04,840 --> 00:37:10,840 But that's a fear of death and fear of failure. 336 00:37:10,840 --> 00:37:17,840 It's actually kind of ironic because a lot of times people don't do something because they're afraid of failure. 337 00:37:17,840 --> 00:37:23,840 But when you don't do something you're failing inherently because you didn't do it. 338 00:37:23,840 --> 00:37:25,840 So you didn't even have a chance. 339 00:37:25,840 --> 00:37:30,840 Like there's a quote that is very popular. 340 00:37:30,840 --> 00:37:35,840 It's like you miss 100% percent of the shots you don't take. 341 00:37:35,840 --> 00:37:48,840 So imagine like you're in a basketball game and you're just dribbling around and you have a shot ready and you decide not to take it because you have a fear of missing it. 342 00:37:48,840 --> 00:37:53,840 Well that fear of failure is like preventing you from actually taking that shot. 343 00:37:53,840 --> 00:37:56,840 And it's like a survival mechanism mechanism. 344 00:37:56,840 --> 00:38:00,840 It's like oh if I fail this maybe I'll die. 345 00:38:00,840 --> 00:38:07,840 But the fact is if you miss it's the same as not taking it. 346 00:38:07,840 --> 00:38:11,840 Like if you don't take the shot and then you also miss it's the same outcome. 347 00:38:11,840 --> 00:38:14,840 No goal. No points scored. 348 00:38:14,840 --> 00:38:18,840 Like zero points added to your score. 349 00:38:18,840 --> 00:38:22,840 But then when you actually take the shot then you have an opportunity to actually score. 350 00:38:22,840 --> 00:38:26,840 So then if you actually score then that's a win. 351 00:38:26,840 --> 00:38:47,840 So you miss 100% of the shots you don't take really is a good quote but it's like very ironic because we have a tendency to not want to do things because we're afraid of failing even though not doing it is giving you the same results as failing. 352 00:38:47,840 --> 00:38:54,840 So you're inherently failing if you don't do something because of the fear of failing. 353 00:38:54,840 --> 00:39:06,840 So you're actually like if you want to go if you want to protect yourself for real then you just do it anyways because then you'll have that potential of not failing. 354 00:39:06,840 --> 00:39:15,840 If you fear failing so much and you think that you'll die from it then just take the shot and then you may actually succeed. 355 00:39:15,840 --> 00:39:20,840 Because you're guaranteed failure if you don't take the shot. 356 00:39:20,840 --> 00:39:25,840 And then you're a... 357 00:39:25,840 --> 00:39:33,840 Okay there's another one that I saw online and it said what would you like to achieve but are not working towards. 358 00:39:33,840 --> 00:39:38,840 So just like ask yourself what would you like to achieve. 359 00:39:38,840 --> 00:39:49,840 So a popular one is you would like to achieve riches or you would like to achieve a good job or financially freedom. 360 00:39:49,840 --> 00:39:52,840 Like most people would want financial freedom. 361 00:39:52,840 --> 00:39:56,840 Like I can't name a single person that would not want financial freedom. 362 00:39:56,840 --> 00:40:07,840 Now people could say that they're fine with where they're at but I truly believe that not a single person would reject financial freedom. 363 00:40:07,840 --> 00:40:09,840 So let's just say financial freedom. 364 00:40:09,840 --> 00:40:14,840 If that's something you desire why are you not working towards it. 365 00:40:14,840 --> 00:40:18,840 That in itself is a limiting belief because you desire it. 366 00:40:18,840 --> 00:40:22,840 So then you want it. 367 00:40:22,840 --> 00:40:31,840 And things that you want like things you have desires for are things you actually want in your life. 368 00:40:31,840 --> 00:40:39,840 So if you have this desire then why would you not try and achieve it. 369 00:40:39,840 --> 00:40:42,840 Well the answer to that question is because you have limiting beliefs. 370 00:40:42,840 --> 00:40:46,840 It could be fear of failure, fear of death, fear of the unknown. 371 00:40:46,840 --> 00:40:50,840 It could be like you don't even think it's possible. 372 00:40:50,840 --> 00:40:53,840 Like you don't even think you have what it takes. 373 00:40:53,840 --> 00:41:00,840 Which that one you don't think you have what it takes is a big one that I used to have. 374 00:41:00,840 --> 00:41:10,840 Like I remember I was playing like video games back in the day and I was like seeing all of these. 375 00:41:10,840 --> 00:41:17,840 All these people on TikTok that were like free, they were rich and they could do whatever they want. 376 00:41:17,840 --> 00:41:25,840 And I was like I didn't even question or I didn't even like think that I could have that for myself 377 00:41:25,840 --> 00:41:28,840 because I simply just didn't think that it was possible for me. 378 00:41:28,840 --> 00:41:31,840 I didn't think that I could even achieve such a thing. 379 00:41:31,840 --> 00:41:36,840 But I'm realizing that like literally anyone can achieve it. 380 00:41:36,840 --> 00:41:44,840 It's just that you have to expand that little circle to a little bit bigger so you're actually able to achieve it. 381 00:41:44,840 --> 00:41:47,840 You have to learn how to do it. 382 00:41:47,840 --> 00:41:50,840 You have to like figure out the way the world works. 383 00:41:50,840 --> 00:41:52,840 You have to learn Transurfing. 384 00:41:52,840 --> 00:41:58,840 You don't even have to learn Transurfing but I'm sure there's plenty of people that don't know about Transurfing 385 00:41:58,840 --> 00:42:01,840 but they still follow like the laws of the world. 386 00:42:01,840 --> 00:42:11,840 So if you desire something and you don't think that... 387 00:42:11,840 --> 00:42:16,840 Okay so if you desire something and given the opportunity you would incorporate into your life, 388 00:42:16,840 --> 00:42:20,840 so financial freedom, given the opportunity you would accept that into your life, 389 00:42:20,840 --> 00:42:24,840 yet you're not going for it. 390 00:42:24,840 --> 00:42:26,840 That's a big one. 391 00:42:26,840 --> 00:42:30,840 And you have to question why that is. 392 00:42:30,840 --> 00:42:34,840 And then I said, okay so the next limiting belief is just your worldview. 393 00:42:34,840 --> 00:42:38,840 It's like the way you perceive the world is a huge limiting belief 394 00:42:38,840 --> 00:42:42,840 because right now I'm re-reading Reality Transurfing for the third time. 395 00:42:42,840 --> 00:42:49,840 For context it's a 750 page book about like a specific worldview. 396 00:42:49,840 --> 00:43:01,840 And it's like probably like the best book that I've ever read or the most impactful to my life that I've ever read. 397 00:43:01,840 --> 00:43:04,840 That's like in the fact that I'm reading it third time right now, 398 00:43:04,840 --> 00:43:08,840 shows that I really believe that worldview is a big thing. 399 00:43:08,840 --> 00:43:12,840 And in the beginning of the book it talks about other worldviews. 400 00:43:12,840 --> 00:43:19,840 It's saying like all worldviews are basically built off of un... 401 00:43:19,840 --> 00:43:22,840 What's the word? 402 00:43:22,840 --> 00:43:23,840 It's not... 403 00:43:23,840 --> 00:43:28,840 Like it's built off of principles that are not like possible to prove. 404 00:43:28,840 --> 00:43:29,840 Like it just... 405 00:43:29,840 --> 00:43:32,840 It's built off of principles that can't be proven. 406 00:43:32,840 --> 00:43:34,840 And that's all worldviews. 407 00:43:34,840 --> 00:43:39,840 And it went on to talk about like the... 408 00:43:39,840 --> 00:43:41,840 Like the material worldview. 409 00:43:41,840 --> 00:43:43,840 I don't remember what it's actually called I forgot. 410 00:43:43,840 --> 00:43:48,840 But it's pretty much where people believe that the world has immutable laws 411 00:43:48,840 --> 00:43:53,840 and it like behaves and works outside of ourselves. 412 00:43:53,840 --> 00:44:04,840 So the world acts and works through set immutable laws that we cannot affect. 413 00:44:04,840 --> 00:44:08,840 And people with that worldview tend to see like fate. 414 00:44:08,840 --> 00:44:10,840 Their fate is being predetermined. 415 00:44:10,840 --> 00:44:12,840 And their lot in life is what they get. 416 00:44:12,840 --> 00:44:15,840 So if you're born into poverty and you have that worldview, 417 00:44:15,840 --> 00:44:21,840 you tend to stay there because that's just how you proceed the world. 418 00:44:21,840 --> 00:44:27,840 And then the other worldview is like the world is an illusion. 419 00:44:27,840 --> 00:44:33,840 And it's just like made up from our own consciousness. 420 00:44:33,840 --> 00:44:36,840 And I forgot like what people in that one do. 421 00:44:36,840 --> 00:44:41,840 But there's also another one where you have to like fight for your place under the sun 422 00:44:41,840 --> 00:44:43,840 and you are the warrior mindset. 423 00:44:43,840 --> 00:44:48,840 So you have to fight for things and actually fight the world to actually achieve things. 424 00:44:48,840 --> 00:44:50,840 So there's plenty of worldviews. 425 00:44:50,840 --> 00:44:53,840 And then the one that I'm trying to incorporate into... 426 00:44:53,840 --> 00:44:57,840 The one that I am incorporating into my life is Transurfing. 427 00:44:57,840 --> 00:45:01,840 And what this worldview says is that the world is a mirror. 428 00:45:01,840 --> 00:45:05,840 And it basically went through all the different worldviews and said that they're all right. 429 00:45:05,840 --> 00:45:07,840 But they're also all wrong in their own ways. 430 00:45:07,840 --> 00:45:12,840 And it's because the world is a mirror and it reflects your relationship to it. 431 00:45:12,840 --> 00:45:17,840 So if you believe in this one worldview, well then the world is going to reflect that back to you. 432 00:45:17,840 --> 00:45:20,840 And then it's going to say, yes, this is how it works because it's a mirror. 433 00:45:20,840 --> 00:45:24,840 And then if you believe in a different worldview, it's going to reflect that back. 434 00:45:24,840 --> 00:45:27,840 And then if those two different people that have those two different worldviews, 435 00:45:27,840 --> 00:45:34,840 they try and argue about whose worldview is superior and whose is like actually real. 436 00:45:34,840 --> 00:45:38,840 And they're both right. That's like the thing. 437 00:45:38,840 --> 00:45:53,840 So what Transurfing says is it's like based off of the principle that there's like variation in like the most fundamental quality of the world is that it has like... 438 00:45:53,840 --> 00:45:55,840 It's like very... 439 00:45:55,840 --> 00:45:57,840 It is like variation. 440 00:45:57,840 --> 00:46:01,840 The most fundamental quality of the world is variation. 441 00:46:01,840 --> 00:46:06,840 And so the world is a mirror that reflects your relationship to it. 442 00:46:06,840 --> 00:46:17,840 So Transurfing is a means of basically taking charge of your reality and actually controlling reality to your like will. 443 00:46:17,840 --> 00:46:24,840 And that's the most powerful worldview that I've ever learned about so far. 444 00:46:24,840 --> 00:46:32,840 Because the worldview I grew up with, I was basically destined to do exactly what everyone else in my town does. 445 00:46:32,840 --> 00:46:39,840 Go finish high school, go to college, get a diploma, get a crappy job, 446 00:46:39,840 --> 00:46:49,840 and then hope that I get a better job that I can spend the rest of my life working for somebody else's life essentially. 447 00:46:49,840 --> 00:46:53,840 And then save up enough money to hopefully retire. 448 00:46:53,840 --> 00:46:56,840 And that's the world view I grew up with. 449 00:46:56,840 --> 00:46:58,840 So that worldview is crappy. 450 00:46:58,840 --> 00:47:04,840 And if the world is a mirror and I choose that worldview, then that's what I'm going to get. 451 00:47:04,840 --> 00:47:08,840 So then it would make sense if you can control and change your worldview, 452 00:47:08,840 --> 00:47:12,840 it would make sense to change it to something that you're actually going to get the most out of. 453 00:47:12,840 --> 00:47:20,840 In the beginning of the book, he talked about how it doesn't really matter how the worldviews work or like what they do. 454 00:47:20,840 --> 00:47:23,840 What matters is what we can get out of them. 455 00:47:23,840 --> 00:47:27,840 Like if you have a worldview and you're not really getting much out of it, 456 00:47:27,840 --> 00:47:32,840 like it's the one I described about how you have to go to college and get a job and work for 40 years, 457 00:47:32,840 --> 00:47:35,840 you're not getting much out of it. 458 00:47:35,840 --> 00:47:41,840 So if you just drop that worldview and then switch it to like a Transurfing model, 459 00:47:41,840 --> 00:47:44,840 then you're going to get way more out of it. 460 00:47:44,840 --> 00:47:48,840 So choose a worldview that you're going to get a lot out of. 461 00:47:48,840 --> 00:47:52,840 And for me right now, that's Transurfing because to be honest, 462 00:47:52,840 --> 00:47:57,840 Transurfing is the only worldview that I've really learned about because I'm really early in my life. 463 00:47:57,840 --> 00:48:02,840 I'm only 18 years old and I'm also really early in learning about worldview in general. 464 00:48:02,840 --> 00:48:08,840 And Transurfing was just the first book that I stumbled upon about worldview. 465 00:48:08,840 --> 00:48:12,840 And to be honest, I wasn't even like intending to learn about worldview. 466 00:48:12,840 --> 00:48:20,840 I was just trying to learn about how to like, I was trying to learn how to improve your mind. 467 00:48:20,840 --> 00:48:23,840 That's like, that's how little I knew at the time. 468 00:48:23,840 --> 00:48:27,840 So that's, that's a big limiting belief, your worldview. 469 00:48:27,840 --> 00:48:33,840 Okay. And then the next one I said is your perceived skill in anything. 470 00:48:33,840 --> 00:48:40,840 This is one that I have like that I'm trying to destroy at the moment. 471 00:48:40,840 --> 00:48:53,840 Even today in today's episode, I mentioned that I may like it, it may be too much to record daily one hour episode podcasts. 472 00:48:53,840 --> 00:48:57,840 And that was basically me saying that I didn't have the skill to do that. 473 00:48:57,840 --> 00:49:01,840 So that's my perceived skill in podcasting. 474 00:49:01,840 --> 00:49:03,840 And then there's another thing. 475 00:49:03,840 --> 00:49:09,840 I believe I may have aphantasia, which means that you can't really meditate or not meditate. 476 00:49:09,840 --> 00:49:11,840 You can't really visualize. 477 00:49:11,840 --> 00:49:14,840 So I'm kind of blind in the mind's eye. 478 00:49:14,840 --> 00:49:17,840 So whenever I try to visualize, I don't really see anything. 479 00:49:17,840 --> 00:49:22,840 It's just blackness, but I can kind of feel things and I can kind of like feel the energy of things. 480 00:49:22,840 --> 00:49:27,840 So I can visualize in a sense, but not like see things when I meditate. 481 00:49:27,840 --> 00:49:30,840 It's just black. 482 00:49:30,840 --> 00:49:38,840 But at times there are little like, let's not get into that, but pretty much that is a limiting belief that I have. 483 00:49:38,840 --> 00:49:55,840 My perceived skill in meditation right now, I'm trying to right now I'm working on the gateway experience, which is meditating so deep that you actually realize that you're more than your physical body and you can like explore your consciousness. 484 00:49:55,840 --> 00:50:11,840 And the limiting belief that's deeply ingrained in me is the thought that I can't actually do the gateway experience because I have don't have the skill to be able to visualize. 485 00:50:11,840 --> 00:50:15,840 So that's a limiting belief that's preventing me from success. 486 00:50:15,840 --> 00:50:19,840 And so that's, that's what I'm trying to fix at the moment. 487 00:50:19,840 --> 00:50:25,840 And then as well as what does that even say? 488 00:50:25,840 --> 00:50:28,840 Oh, ticktocks. 489 00:50:28,840 --> 00:50:37,840 One thing you may have a limiting belief if you're trying to get good at social media, you may have a limiting belief that you're not good at recording ticktocks. 490 00:50:37,840 --> 00:50:40,840 So that's another thing. 491 00:50:40,840 --> 00:50:56,840 Okay, and one like personal thing that I've learned about is there's a limiting belief that people have when they're trying to get into podcasting or content creation in general, they believe that it's a crowded market and that you're not going to be able to like carve out your own niche. 492 00:50:56,840 --> 00:51:04,840 That's a limiting belief because it prevents you from even starting in the first place. 493 00:51:04,840 --> 00:51:12,840 Also like identity statements like I am, I am bad at, I will never see success. 494 00:51:12,840 --> 00:51:20,840 I don't have enough to say like I don't I am like all these identity statements. 495 00:51:20,840 --> 00:51:32,840 One of the things that one of my limiting beliefs is I don't have I say I don't have enough to say during my podcast which prevents me from recording daily one hour episodes, 496 00:51:32,840 --> 00:51:36,840 which is just a limiting belief. 497 00:51:36,840 --> 00:51:55,840 Okay, now that I spent like 30 minutes talking about different limiting beliefs that you could have the second part to the person's question on the ticktock was how do you overcome them like how do you destroy your limiting beliefs. 498 00:51:55,840 --> 00:52:18,840 And so to be honest, I didn't really know how to. I just assumed that it goes along with the inner work like you got to just learn about it and then come conscious of it and then just do like just do brute force and every single time you become conscious of it you like don't say that anymore. 499 00:52:18,840 --> 00:52:29,840 And so I wasn't really comfortable with just saying that so I looked it up and I looked up what like how do you overcome limiting beliefs and there's four steps. 500 00:52:29,840 --> 00:52:32,840 The first step is you become aware of them. 501 00:52:32,840 --> 00:52:47,840 So you have to actually realize like what is keeping your circle small like what's keeping your circle of potential success small and what's preventing it from being really big. 502 00:52:47,840 --> 00:52:52,840 And I listed a few examples and I listed some that I actually have. 503 00:52:52,840 --> 00:52:55,840 So that's the first step you become aware of them. 504 00:52:55,840 --> 00:53:00,840 And then the second step is you figure out if they're true or not. 505 00:53:00,840 --> 00:53:07,840 So you actually have to like go through and see if they're valid like see if there's evidence that supports them or not. 506 00:53:07,840 --> 00:53:18,840 So for example if one of my limiting beliefs right now is I don't have enough to say and I can't maintain one hour long podcasts. 507 00:53:18,840 --> 00:53:29,840 So I look for evidence to prove that and yes over the past couple weeks I've had a little like I didn't have too much to say. 508 00:53:29,840 --> 00:53:39,840 But today I had a lot to say like today I was going to be able to finish this podcast speaking the whole time and like not running out of things to say. 509 00:53:39,840 --> 00:53:47,840 So that is kind of evidence that supports that it's false as well as the fact that I'm on episode 101. 510 00:53:47,840 --> 00:53:53,840 So the fact that I got to episode 101 proves that it's maintainable. 511 00:53:53,840 --> 00:54:03,840 If it was not maintainable I would have ran out of things to say like 50 days ago or 60 days ago or earlier than this. 512 00:54:03,840 --> 00:54:07,840 So that's the second step you figure out if it's true or not. 513 00:54:07,840 --> 00:54:12,840 And then the third step is you just do the inner work and you reframe it. 514 00:54:12,840 --> 00:54:16,840 They said like reframe it into something positive. 515 00:54:16,840 --> 00:54:20,840 But I just I don't really know how to do that to be honest. 516 00:54:20,840 --> 00:54:30,840 So I just and I didn't really read the article I just like looked at the four steps and then wrote them down because I wanted to talk to them with my own knowledge. 517 00:54:30,840 --> 00:54:33,840 And I just said like do the inner work. 518 00:54:33,840 --> 00:54:46,840 So every single time you realize that you have that limiting belief you just destroy it like one of the biggest limiting beliefs that a lot of people have me included is it has to do with money. 519 00:54:46,840 --> 00:55:06,840 So I grew up in the slow lane which means that I grew up in a community where people tend to work a nine to five job for 40 years and save their money and live frugally and try and save for retirement and hopefully retire in 40 years. 520 00:55:06,840 --> 00:55:07,840 That's the slow lane. 521 00:55:07,840 --> 00:55:35,840 So I grew up with the worldview of living frugally and basically I don't deserve expensive things like that's a very limiting worldview because if you see like a yacht 50 million dollar yacht and you're like oh I cannot even afford that if you see a $20 if you see a hundred dollar mechanical toothbrush and you're like oh I can't afford that. 522 00:55:35,840 --> 00:55:43,840 Like that's really limiting for you because if you believe that you can't even afford that if you believe that that's not for you. 523 00:55:43,840 --> 00:55:59,840 Like there's one thing that I'm like a lot of times I see around me people like oh I can't like I don't buy this types of stuff and I was like and I always like kind of think in my head like yeah because that kind of stuff is not for us. 524 00:55:59,840 --> 00:56:05,840 Like think about that for a moment. 525 00:56:05,840 --> 00:56:06,840 You see like. 526 00:56:06,840 --> 00:56:07,840 If. 527 00:56:07,840 --> 00:56:08,840 Okay. 528 00:56:08,840 --> 00:56:09,840 Let's let's just go from my perspective. 529 00:56:09,840 --> 00:56:10,840 You are in middle class. 530 00:56:10,840 --> 00:56:11,840 So that's your worldview. 531 00:56:11,840 --> 00:56:18,840 You basically see all the middle class items and you're like oh that's for me like I like that's what I deserve in life. 532 00:56:18,840 --> 00:56:21,840 That's what I can have. 533 00:56:21,840 --> 00:56:29,840 But then you see like upper class items like a nice couch a nice house a nice car financial freedom. 534 00:56:29,840 --> 00:56:37,840 If you see all that stuff you're like oh no that's not for me like I don't I don't I don't deserve that. 535 00:56:37,840 --> 00:56:49,840 That's very limiting and it's honestly it's very saddening because people are just holding themselves back and to be honest I still find myself asking like how much does it cost. 536 00:56:49,840 --> 00:56:53,840 Like if I want something I'm like how much does it cost. 537 00:56:53,840 --> 00:56:57,840 With the intention of if it's too much money I'm not going to get it. 538 00:56:57,840 --> 00:57:06,840 But the thing is there's a difference because I generally don't have any money right now I'm just in the phase of transitioning to wealth. 539 00:57:06,840 --> 00:57:11,840 So I actually don't have money so I had to play it smart so I can't like go out and blow all my money. 540 00:57:11,840 --> 00:57:22,840 But the way that my worldview is set right now is whenever I see something like that I think is expensive like oh how much does it cost. 541 00:57:22,840 --> 00:57:24,840 And I hear the price. 542 00:57:24,840 --> 00:57:37,840 The difference is since my worldview is like closer to scarcity and middle class and I hear a large number a large price and I hear that large price. 543 00:57:37,840 --> 00:57:41,840 Then I have no intention of ever buying it like that's the difference. 544 00:57:41,840 --> 00:57:55,840 If you're in that transition phase you have to be conscious of whenever you have a limit belief towards money and you're you hear that you like it's expensive and you can't afford it right now. 545 00:57:55,840 --> 00:58:03,840 People tend to just like go with the idea that they're never going to get it like they're they never intend to have it. 546 00:58:03,840 --> 00:58:14,840 But what needs to happen and I'm just I just realized this when I was just teaching you this just five seconds ago I just realized that instead of telling your mind or your heart that you're never going to have it. 547 00:58:14,840 --> 00:58:22,840 Say I intend to have that and like later like I will have that eventually or like say something like that. 548 00:58:22,840 --> 00:58:26,840 Say I will if I can't afford that just not right now. 549 00:58:26,840 --> 00:58:29,840 Like that's that's what you should say. 550 00:58:29,840 --> 00:58:46,840 And then the fourth step they wrote down like don't give up when you've experienced the many beliefs but I switched it to just keep going like one of my models models is just start and just keep going like just start and don't stop. 551 00:58:46,840 --> 00:59:03,840 Like especially today I was really bumped like or not bumped but I was really like low energy like I genuinely felt sick like I just told you the whole story of how I spent all day sleeping. 552 00:59:03,840 --> 00:59:08,840 But I feel like today's episode was actually pretty good. 553 00:59:08,840 --> 00:59:16,840 So just keep going like I could have taken a break today but I decided to just keep going like that's a big model. 554 00:59:16,840 --> 00:59:22,840 And there's a difference between taking a break when you actually need it like I probably should have taken a break today. 555 00:59:22,840 --> 00:59:30,840 But I want to save my breaks for when I'm at Dominican Republic for vacation in a few months. 556 00:59:30,840 --> 00:59:38,840 That's when I want to take a break and not have to not think about podcasting at all and take a one week break on the beach. 557 00:59:38,840 --> 00:59:40,840 That's that's where you take a break. 558 00:59:40,840 --> 00:59:43,840 It's like the quality of breaks. 559 00:59:43,840 --> 00:59:48,840 So today's episode is ending literally right on time. 560 00:59:48,840 --> 00:59:51,840 Like I just ran out of things to say. 561 00:59:51,840 --> 00:59:57,840 Usually I would have to come up with random things to talk about but it's one hour into the episode. 562 00:59:57,840 --> 01:00:00,840 So that's it for today's episode. 563 01:00:00,840 --> 01:00:27,840 Thank you for watching.
