1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,000 So the big question is this, how do young men like us who didn't listen to society, 2 00:00:08,000 --> 00:00:16,840 who are on our own, how do we grow and improve ourselves so that we can live a better tomorrow? 3 00:00:16,840 --> 00:00:20,800 That is the question and this show will give you the answers. 4 00:00:20,800 --> 00:00:29,600 My name is James Radzinski and welcome to The Ascent Momentum Show. 5 00:00:29,600 --> 00:00:31,600 Welcome back. 6 00:00:31,600 --> 00:00:53,600 Alright, so right off the bat before I forget, yesterday I talked about asking, I talked about this feature in this podcast editing software where you can remove the silence. 7 00:00:53,600 --> 00:00:59,600 So anytime that silence that I just had right there, that would have been removed. 8 00:00:59,600 --> 00:01:03,600 So anytime there's silence, then it removes it. 9 00:01:03,600 --> 00:01:14,600 And I don't do that because I want to keep the authenticity of the podcast, but I do use it as a marker because it says how many silences, 10 00:01:14,600 --> 00:01:20,600 like how many moments of silence there were in that specific episode. 11 00:01:20,600 --> 00:01:25,600 And a while back I used to get like 800, maybe 1000. 12 00:01:25,600 --> 00:01:41,600 And yesterday I told you guys that I would say in the next episode, excuse me, I would say in the next episode, how many silences were in that one, episode 55. 13 00:01:41,600 --> 00:01:46,600 And so I checked and it was like 338. 14 00:01:46,600 --> 00:01:50,600 So that's, I consider that pretty good. 15 00:01:50,600 --> 00:01:56,600 I'm not sure what my record is, but it's probably around there. I don't think I've ever broken 300. 16 00:01:56,600 --> 00:02:03,600 But that is one of the little things that I'm measuring along the way. 17 00:02:03,600 --> 00:02:10,600 But I want to talk to you guys about this one movie called Gadica. 18 00:02:10,600 --> 00:02:18,600 Now, I'm in school right now. I'm finishing up senior year. 19 00:02:18,600 --> 00:02:22,600 And I'm taking this class called Humanities. 20 00:02:22,600 --> 00:02:29,600 And in this class we're learning all about like perfection. 21 00:02:29,600 --> 00:02:38,600 Just like, I don't really know what the general term would be, but like human things. 22 00:02:38,600 --> 00:02:42,600 And we're watching a movie right now called Gadica. 23 00:02:42,600 --> 00:03:02,600 And it's about this guy who lives in a society where people can basically genetically modify their kids so they can basically choose for their kid to have like the most optimal genes. 24 00:03:02,600 --> 00:03:26,600 And so we were watching it and I was just thinking about like while I was watching that movie and he had this impossible, impossible seeming goal where he wanted to go to, he wanted to like fly in a spaceship. 25 00:03:26,600 --> 00:03:37,600 And so that was his goal and he was living in a society where it basically was not possible for him to do it because he was not genetically modified. 26 00:03:37,600 --> 00:03:44,600 And there's like discrimination between genetically modified people and non-genetically modified. 27 00:03:44,600 --> 00:04:00,600 So what happened is he was basically working towards the goal and along the way many people, like everyone was saying, this is impossible. 28 00:04:00,600 --> 00:04:03,600 You're not going to be able to do that. It's never going to happen. 29 00:04:03,600 --> 00:04:11,600 But he didn't listen and he just kept his goal in mind and kept moving one foot in front of the other. 30 00:04:11,600 --> 00:04:22,600 And so now that I'm studying, like I've been studying Transurfing a lot, Reality Transurfing, and I'm able to like see many different principles throughout my day. 31 00:04:22,600 --> 00:04:33,600 Like for example, in my gym class, we're going through this one unit where I'm learning a lot about specific things. 32 00:04:33,600 --> 00:04:38,600 I'm not, I don't really want to disclose the details, but I'm learning about specific things. 33 00:04:38,600 --> 00:04:42,600 And while I'm learning, I'm like, oh, that's a Transurfing principle. This is good. 34 00:04:42,600 --> 00:04:46,600 And it's the same while I was watching that movie, the Gattaca. 35 00:04:46,600 --> 00:05:06,600 And this, like I was able to see all the Transurfing principles and that's like a very good thing because it's showing that I am beginning to actually understand and incorporate Transurfing into my worldview. 36 00:05:06,600 --> 00:05:22,600 And that's like huge. That's huge for me because if I can connect, if I can make connections with things like on the external world or things that I'm taking in, if I can make connections to Transurfing, 37 00:05:22,600 --> 00:05:30,600 then that just strengthens my understanding and really just widens my perspective. 38 00:05:30,600 --> 00:05:41,600 So it's really valuable to not only read Transurfing, but study it because I've only, I haven't even finished my second time reading it. 39 00:05:41,600 --> 00:05:50,600 And I've already made this much progress and I definitely plan on reading it many times throughout my life. 40 00:05:50,600 --> 00:06:04,600 All right, so let me get some water. 41 00:06:04,600 --> 00:06:13,600 So maybe a week and a half ago, maybe one or two weeks ago, I discovered this thing called the gateway process. 42 00:06:13,600 --> 00:06:20,600 And the way I discovered it is actually, I've actually been talking about this a lot on my recent episodes. 43 00:06:20,600 --> 00:06:28,600 So if you've heard the same story many times over, I'm sorry, but it just shows how excited I am about it. 44 00:06:28,600 --> 00:06:32,600 So I'm going to tell the whole story from the start. 45 00:06:32,600 --> 00:06:39,600 For context, I was reading Transurfing and I was kind of like looking it up. 46 00:06:39,600 --> 00:06:47,600 So I'm halfway done, maybe a fourth of the way done with my second read through on Transurfing. 47 00:06:47,600 --> 00:06:57,600 And so naturally I was very into learning more about the book and more about the worldview. 48 00:06:57,600 --> 00:07:09,600 So I was googling online and I was looking up like reality Transurfing or I was just looking up different things about Transurfing. 49 00:07:09,600 --> 00:07:20,600 And I stumbled across this one website called the most beautiful world and it was a reading list and it was called the ultimate reading list for human beings. 50 00:07:20,600 --> 00:07:30,600 And so I started reading it, it was like a blog post kind of where he was, he wrote an article and then at the end he put in the reading list. 51 00:07:30,600 --> 00:07:40,600 And so in this article, he was talking a lot, he was talking that spoke to my language. 52 00:07:40,600 --> 00:07:45,600 He was talking about how there's more to the world, there's more to life. 53 00:07:45,600 --> 00:07:58,600 And he was also talking about how Transurfing is the foundation to this reading list. 54 00:07:58,600 --> 00:08:04,600 So basically the first book you should read before you even start the reading list is Transurfing. 55 00:08:04,600 --> 00:08:15,600 And so for context, I had read Transurfing and I was in the middle of reading it the second time through and it absolutely changed my life. 56 00:08:15,600 --> 00:08:20,600 Like it destroyed my worldview and set me up for success in my life. 57 00:08:20,600 --> 00:08:24,600 And I knew how valuable it was. 58 00:08:24,600 --> 00:08:26,600 Like it was the most important book that I've ever read. 59 00:08:26,600 --> 00:08:31,600 Like the most influential and impactful book I've ever read in my life. 60 00:08:31,600 --> 00:08:36,600 So naturally once I saw that this was the foundation and he'd read that book as well. 61 00:08:36,600 --> 00:08:39,600 So he probably had a similar experience to me. 62 00:08:39,600 --> 00:08:49,600 If I saw that this book was the foundation to this reading list, naturally I'd be inclined to read the books on the reading list. 63 00:08:49,600 --> 00:08:57,600 So I read through and he also said that he wrote his own book, which was a culmination of the past three years of his experience, 64 00:08:57,600 --> 00:09:04,600 which includes all of those books on the reading list, as well as a three year long road trip. 65 00:09:04,600 --> 00:09:11,600 Yeah, he went on a road trip that lasted for three years. 66 00:09:11,600 --> 00:09:13,600 That is insane. 67 00:09:13,600 --> 00:09:22,600 And that's like that kind of insanity is the kind of stuff that has shifted my life for the better. 68 00:09:22,600 --> 00:09:32,600 When I listen to people who I think are insane at the time and I apply their information, 69 00:09:32,600 --> 00:09:35,600 then my life absolutely transforms for the better. 70 00:09:35,600 --> 00:09:37,600 For example, I thought it was insane. 71 00:09:37,600 --> 00:09:39,600 There was this YouTuber named Hamza. 72 00:09:39,600 --> 00:09:46,600 I thought it was insane that he basically cut out his phone usage. 73 00:09:46,600 --> 00:09:50,600 Like he does not use his phone unless he has a purpose. 74 00:09:50,600 --> 00:09:52,600 But that was insane. 75 00:09:52,600 --> 00:09:58,600 But I followed him and listened to his stuff and then I radically transformed my worldview. 76 00:09:58,600 --> 00:10:03,600 And as a result, now I haven't used my phone in like three days. 77 00:10:03,600 --> 00:10:05,600 And I just think that that's normal. 78 00:10:05,600 --> 00:10:07,600 It's just normal to me now. 79 00:10:07,600 --> 00:10:11,600 I'm not like stressing over my phone anymore. 80 00:10:11,600 --> 00:10:16,600 And so this is all like... 81 00:10:16,600 --> 00:10:18,600 This is all... 82 00:10:18,600 --> 00:10:19,600 This is basically how you grow. 83 00:10:19,600 --> 00:10:22,600 You have to find someone who you think is insane. 84 00:10:22,600 --> 00:10:25,600 And you basically follow their principles. 85 00:10:25,600 --> 00:10:32,600 But you have to find someone who you think is insane where you think you could actually benefit from their stuff. 86 00:10:32,600 --> 00:10:35,600 Like I knew that the phone usage was bad. 87 00:10:35,600 --> 00:10:37,600 And so that's why... 88 00:10:37,600 --> 00:10:39,600 But I was addicted to my phone. 89 00:10:39,600 --> 00:10:41,600 So that's why I thought that Hamza was insane. 90 00:10:41,600 --> 00:10:49,600 And so what I did was I followed him and listened to his stuff and applied it. 91 00:10:49,600 --> 00:10:51,600 And then I cut out my phone. 92 00:10:51,600 --> 00:10:53,600 So I basically got that result. 93 00:10:53,600 --> 00:10:57,600 So that's basically what I'm doing with this reading list. 94 00:10:57,600 --> 00:11:01,600 I thought that I was insane that he went on a three-year-long road trip. 95 00:11:01,600 --> 00:11:03,600 But there's definitely a reason why he did it. 96 00:11:03,600 --> 00:11:06,600 Like no normal person can go on a three-year-long road trip. 97 00:11:06,600 --> 00:11:10,600 Because that takes a lot of effort. 98 00:11:10,600 --> 00:11:12,600 And a lot of discipline. 99 00:11:12,600 --> 00:11:16,600 And so that is definitely insane. 100 00:11:16,600 --> 00:11:21,600 And I didn't realize it until now that that is probably why I'm listening to this guy. 101 00:11:21,600 --> 00:11:26,600 So I was looking through his first reading list. 102 00:11:26,600 --> 00:11:31,600 And I read through that entire reading list. 103 00:11:31,600 --> 00:11:34,600 Like I read the titles and his thoughts on the books. 104 00:11:34,600 --> 00:11:36,600 I didn't read the actual books yet. 105 00:11:36,600 --> 00:11:40,600 But I read through it all. 106 00:11:40,600 --> 00:11:43,600 And I came to the conclusion that I wanted to read it. 107 00:11:43,600 --> 00:11:45,600 I wanted to read that entire reading list. 108 00:11:45,600 --> 00:11:48,600 And so I bought his book actually. 109 00:11:48,600 --> 00:11:50,600 Which wasn't even on the reading list. 110 00:11:50,600 --> 00:11:54,600 He just kind of plugged it in before he posted the reading list. 111 00:11:54,600 --> 00:12:00,600 And then I bought the first book on the reading list as well. 112 00:12:00,600 --> 00:12:07,600 And I actually told myself that I wasn't going to read any books until I finished Transurfing. 113 00:12:07,600 --> 00:12:13,600 Because the last time I read a new book after I was done with Transurfing. 114 00:12:13,600 --> 00:12:15,600 Or before I was even done with Transurfing. 115 00:12:15,600 --> 00:12:18,600 I didn't go back into it until like a couple months later. 116 00:12:18,600 --> 00:12:21,600 So that's basically where I'm at right now. 117 00:12:21,600 --> 00:12:25,600 I'm waiting to read Transurfing before I read those books. 118 00:12:25,600 --> 00:12:32,600 But I couldn't help myself and I actually read the introduction to his book. 119 00:12:32,600 --> 00:12:35,600 The guy who wrote that reading list. 120 00:12:35,600 --> 00:12:38,600 Or compiled the reading list. 121 00:12:38,600 --> 00:12:44,600 And in his book he was speaking exactly how I wanted to hear. 122 00:12:44,600 --> 00:12:47,600 Like he was speaking to me basically. 123 00:12:47,600 --> 00:12:52,600 And the way he was speaking was just spoke to me. 124 00:12:52,600 --> 00:12:55,600 And it was very... 125 00:12:55,600 --> 00:13:02,600 Like it was just exactly the type of person I want to learn from. 126 00:13:02,600 --> 00:13:05,600 And in the beginning he actually... 127 00:13:05,600 --> 00:13:13,600 In the introduction to his book he actually put in like a picture of a document. 128 00:13:13,600 --> 00:13:15,600 And then it was captioned. 129 00:13:15,600 --> 00:13:17,600 I saw it and it looked like weird font. 130 00:13:17,600 --> 00:13:19,600 It kind of looked like a government font. 131 00:13:19,600 --> 00:13:22,600 And then I read the caption. 132 00:13:22,600 --> 00:13:24,600 And it was... 133 00:13:24,600 --> 00:13:32,600 He said there's nothing like putting a declassified CIA document about time travel in the introduction to your book. 134 00:13:32,600 --> 00:13:37,600 And so when I read that I instantly read the document. 135 00:13:37,600 --> 00:13:41,600 And I did not even understand what the document was saying. 136 00:13:41,600 --> 00:13:48,600 Because it was just like this one paragraph that he cut and paste into the book. 137 00:13:48,600 --> 00:13:50,600 And I didn't really have the proper context. 138 00:13:50,600 --> 00:13:52,600 And I was like okay wow. 139 00:13:52,600 --> 00:13:55,600 That is interesting. 140 00:13:55,600 --> 00:13:57,600 And I didn't really think... 141 00:13:57,600 --> 00:13:59,600 I kind of thought about it a little bit more. 142 00:13:59,600 --> 00:14:03,600 And then I kind of forgot about it until I woke up. 143 00:14:03,600 --> 00:14:07,600 Or I forgot about it that night and then that morning after that. 144 00:14:07,600 --> 00:14:12,600 Until I kind of was telling my friend about how I read the book. 145 00:14:12,600 --> 00:14:14,600 Like the introduction to the book. 146 00:14:14,600 --> 00:14:18,600 And I actually... it kind of spilled out of my... 147 00:14:18,600 --> 00:14:20,600 I was in the zone while I was talking to him. 148 00:14:20,600 --> 00:14:25,600 And I just said that he put a declassified CIA document in the intro. 149 00:14:25,600 --> 00:14:27,600 While I was explaining to him. 150 00:14:27,600 --> 00:14:30,600 And then that made me thinking like oh. 151 00:14:30,600 --> 00:14:33,600 I kind of want to look into this. 152 00:14:33,600 --> 00:14:35,600 And so I looked for it. 153 00:14:35,600 --> 00:14:40,600 And I discovered that it was called the analysis and the assessment of the gateway process. 154 00:14:40,600 --> 00:14:44,600 And I actually recorded an entire episode. 155 00:14:44,600 --> 00:14:46,600 Not an entire episode based on this. 156 00:14:46,600 --> 00:14:49,600 But I recorded an episode where I talked about it. 157 00:14:49,600 --> 00:14:51,600 It was episode 45. 158 00:14:51,600 --> 00:14:57,600 And it was how a declassified CIA document changed my life. 159 00:14:57,600 --> 00:14:59,600 Or something like that. 160 00:14:59,600 --> 00:15:04,600 And so basically I read through... 161 00:15:04,600 --> 00:15:05,600 I printed out that document. 162 00:15:05,600 --> 00:15:08,600 And then I read through the entire thing. 163 00:15:08,600 --> 00:15:16,600 And it definitely expanded my knowledge for sure. 164 00:15:16,600 --> 00:15:25,600 Because I've developed this ability to not throw away information that's outside of my worldview. 165 00:15:25,600 --> 00:15:27,600 Because I read Transurfing. 166 00:15:27,600 --> 00:15:32,600 So now instead of instantly dismissing information that's outside of my worldview. 167 00:15:32,600 --> 00:15:39,600 I don't dismiss it and I actually take it in and interpret it as is. 168 00:15:39,600 --> 00:15:41,600 And so I read it. 169 00:15:41,600 --> 00:15:45,600 And a lot of the stuff in that document... 170 00:15:45,600 --> 00:15:48,600 I don't know if coincided. 171 00:15:48,600 --> 00:15:50,600 I don't even know what that word means. 172 00:15:50,600 --> 00:15:52,600 But it basically went... 173 00:15:52,600 --> 00:15:56,600 There was a lot of Transurfing principles in that document. 174 00:15:56,600 --> 00:15:58,600 So I knew that that stuff was legit. 175 00:15:58,600 --> 00:16:02,600 And as a result, that document was called... 176 00:16:02,600 --> 00:16:04,600 It was talking about the gateway process. 177 00:16:04,600 --> 00:16:09,600 Which is a thing. 178 00:16:09,600 --> 00:16:11,600 It's by Monroe Institute. 179 00:16:11,600 --> 00:16:18,600 And it's basically like guided meditation with hemisynchronization. 180 00:16:18,600 --> 00:16:20,600 Hemispheres... 181 00:16:20,600 --> 00:16:22,600 It's like hemisync sound waves. 182 00:16:22,600 --> 00:16:30,600 So basically it's a guided meditation with noises that basically unify the left and the right side of your brain. 183 00:16:30,600 --> 00:16:31,600 And allow... 184 00:16:31,600 --> 00:16:40,600 It unites them and allows them to achieve higher states of expanded awareness basically. 185 00:16:40,600 --> 00:16:44,600 So naturally I bought the first wave. 186 00:16:44,600 --> 00:16:49,600 There's eight waves in their at home training kit of the gateway experience. 187 00:16:49,600 --> 00:16:52,600 So I bought wave one. 188 00:16:52,600 --> 00:16:54,600 And it didn't come. 189 00:16:54,600 --> 00:17:01,600 But well I bought wave one and I bought the CD because I don't want to have to listen to it on my phone or my computer. 190 00:17:01,600 --> 00:17:07,600 So I bought that CD and then I didn't have headphones or a CD player. 191 00:17:07,600 --> 00:17:13,600 So I spent like $180 that day buying the CDs. 192 00:17:13,600 --> 00:17:16,600 It's like the wave one which has three CDs. 193 00:17:16,600 --> 00:17:21,600 And then I bought headphones, the same headphones they use. 194 00:17:21,600 --> 00:17:25,600 And I bought a CD player. 195 00:17:25,600 --> 00:17:29,600 So the actual... 196 00:17:29,600 --> 00:17:31,600 The what's it called... 197 00:17:31,600 --> 00:17:35,600 CD didn't come. 198 00:17:35,600 --> 00:17:39,600 It was supposed to come anywhere between Monday and Wednesday. 199 00:17:39,600 --> 00:17:42,600 And by the way today is Tuesday. 200 00:17:42,600 --> 00:17:46,600 So it's supposed to come anytime between Monday and Wednesday. 201 00:17:46,600 --> 00:17:53,600 And then yesterday or on Saturday... 202 00:17:53,600 --> 00:17:59,600 So since I bought it through Amazon on Saturday it said that it was delayed at customs. 203 00:17:59,600 --> 00:18:01,600 And so I was like wow that's weird. 204 00:18:01,600 --> 00:18:04,600 And then it was still delayed at customs. 205 00:18:04,600 --> 00:18:08,600 Even yesterday I checked again and it was still delayed at customs. 206 00:18:08,600 --> 00:18:15,600 And so I just assumed that it was going to take like a whole week for it to come. 207 00:18:15,600 --> 00:18:22,600 But when I got home from school today I saw the package outside of my room, outside of my door. 208 00:18:22,600 --> 00:18:30,600 And so I got really excited and tore it open, read the entire packet that they gave. 209 00:18:30,600 --> 00:18:34,600 And I haven't started it yet. 210 00:18:34,600 --> 00:18:42,600 And I definitely plan on doing my first experience right after this episode. 211 00:18:42,600 --> 00:18:46,600 And I'm going to have my first experience. 212 00:18:46,600 --> 00:18:52,600 So I will definitely let you guys know about it tomorrow, on tomorrow's episode. 213 00:18:52,600 --> 00:18:56,600 And I will actually have had two practices. 214 00:18:56,600 --> 00:19:01,600 So I'm going to practice two times a day because I always meditate two times a day. 215 00:19:01,600 --> 00:19:04,600 Once in the morning and once at night. 216 00:19:04,600 --> 00:19:10,600 And so I'm basically just going to practice the tape two times a day. 217 00:19:10,600 --> 00:19:12,600 One in the morning, one at night. 218 00:19:12,600 --> 00:19:23,600 I might change it because if I fall asleep, often times during my practice of practicing this in the past week or so... 219 00:19:23,600 --> 00:19:32,600 I found that I fell asleep very easily at nighttime and at morning because one, I just woken up. 220 00:19:32,600 --> 00:19:34,600 Or two, I'm about to go to bed. 221 00:19:34,600 --> 00:19:40,600 So that could be something that holds me back that I might have to change. 222 00:19:40,600 --> 00:19:42,600 So that's basically where I'm at right now. 223 00:19:42,600 --> 00:19:48,600 And I'm definitely going to dive deep into this stuff because I know that this stuff will... 224 00:19:48,600 --> 00:19:58,600 Just the way they talk in the booklet, it's all about self-discovery, self-improvement, learning, expanding yourself. 225 00:19:58,600 --> 00:20:01,600 There's just the way they talked. I really liked. 226 00:20:01,600 --> 00:20:11,600 And so I know that this stuff will basically help me along my journey of self-discovery and self-improvement. 227 00:20:11,600 --> 00:20:13,600 So I'm going to go deep on it. 228 00:20:13,600 --> 00:20:18,600 But also, I want to completely shift the conversation. 229 00:20:18,600 --> 00:20:26,600 I want to talk about how a couple weeks ago I declared that I will increase my bolt score for many reasons. 230 00:20:26,600 --> 00:20:33,600 Which basically means that I'm going to become a more efficient breather because my breathing is very bad. 231 00:20:33,600 --> 00:20:35,600 And I was working towards it. 232 00:20:35,600 --> 00:20:40,600 And then I went out of town, not last weekend, but the weekend before. 233 00:20:40,600 --> 00:20:44,600 And my breathing was absolutely destroyed. 234 00:20:44,600 --> 00:20:46,600 I lost all my progress. 235 00:20:46,600 --> 00:20:50,600 And then I kind of been passively working my way back up. 236 00:20:50,600 --> 00:20:57,600 But I realized that I'm not consistent and I'm not really practicing as I should. 237 00:20:57,600 --> 00:21:05,600 So for context, I have a morning routine and a nighttime routine where I practice different things every single day. 238 00:21:05,600 --> 00:21:07,600 And that allows me to get the consistency. 239 00:21:07,600 --> 00:21:12,600 So one of the things that I practice every single day is balancing on a medicine ball. 240 00:21:12,600 --> 00:21:16,600 Which basically allows me to get more balance and better balance. 241 00:21:16,600 --> 00:21:22,600 Now this is huge because balance is good for your life. 242 00:21:22,600 --> 00:21:26,600 But I'm also doing it to become a better surfer. 243 00:21:26,600 --> 00:21:34,600 And I realized that I wasn't going to ever practice with it unless I added it to my morning routine. 244 00:21:34,600 --> 00:21:37,600 So I added it to my morning routine. 245 00:21:37,600 --> 00:21:40,600 Now for some reason I didn't... 246 00:21:43,600 --> 00:21:45,600 Excuse me, I just sneezed. 247 00:21:45,600 --> 00:21:55,600 But for some reason I didn't think to add it to my morning or nighttime routine until just recently. 248 00:21:55,600 --> 00:22:02,600 And I'm talking about my breathing, like breath work, exercises, breathing exercises. 249 00:22:02,600 --> 00:22:09,600 Because this breathing, if I can make my breathing better, that will be a huge game changer. 250 00:22:09,600 --> 00:22:17,600 Breathing, objectively speaking, improving my breathing is more important than improving my balance. 251 00:22:17,600 --> 00:22:24,600 Yet I've paid much more attention to improving my balance than improving my breathing. 252 00:22:24,600 --> 00:22:27,600 So that's kind of where I'm at right now. 253 00:22:27,600 --> 00:22:33,600 And I realized that I need to add it to my routine. 254 00:22:33,600 --> 00:22:40,600 And I reread one of the last chapters of the Oxygen Advantage the other day. 255 00:22:40,600 --> 00:22:43,600 Like a couple of weeks ago. 256 00:22:43,600 --> 00:22:46,600 The day before I left for out of town. 257 00:22:46,600 --> 00:22:48,600 Not last weekend. 258 00:22:48,600 --> 00:22:52,600 Not this past weekend, but the last. 259 00:22:52,600 --> 00:23:02,600 And I reread the last chapter, or one of the last chapters, which basically had a summary of the programs that you could follow. 260 00:23:02,600 --> 00:23:06,600 And one of the programs that I found was the easiest to follow. 261 00:23:06,600 --> 00:23:12,600 Which was actually for my target audience, which was like kids and teenagers. 262 00:23:12,600 --> 00:23:23,600 And it was basically to do the nose unblocking exercise like three times a day for eight sets each. 263 00:23:23,600 --> 00:23:25,600 Or something like that. I could be getting this number wrong. 264 00:23:25,600 --> 00:23:32,600 But lately I've been doing the nose unblocking exercise for maybe like one or two sets a day, if anything. 265 00:23:32,600 --> 00:23:37,600 I would usually just do it during my bike ride one or two times. 266 00:23:37,600 --> 00:23:46,600 And for context, the nose unblocking exercise is you basically breathing in and out normal. 267 00:23:46,600 --> 00:23:51,600 So you breathe normal. And then on your exhale you hold that exhale down so you don't breathe back in. 268 00:23:51,600 --> 00:23:53,600 You just hold your breath after the exhale. 269 00:23:53,600 --> 00:23:56,600 And then walk. And then count your paces. 270 00:23:56,600 --> 00:24:02,600 So count how many steps you take until you have a strong desire to breathe. 271 00:24:02,600 --> 00:24:08,600 And then once you breathe, you should control your breathing immediately. 272 00:24:08,600 --> 00:24:13,600 Like do not pant. Like don't like breathe. 273 00:24:13,600 --> 00:24:17,600 And you should breathe through your nose when you breathe. 274 00:24:17,600 --> 00:24:20,600 And especially your first breath. 275 00:24:20,600 --> 00:24:23,600 So what that does is it's actually meant to unblock your nose. 276 00:24:23,600 --> 00:24:28,600 But I am actually doing it to increase my bolt score. 277 00:24:28,600 --> 00:24:31,600 And he actually said you can do it to increase your bolt score as well. 278 00:24:31,600 --> 00:24:37,600 And if you do that like six times, it will unblock your nose. 279 00:24:37,600 --> 00:24:38,600 It will clear your nose. 280 00:24:38,600 --> 00:24:46,600 Like if you have a runny nose or a congested nose or something like that, it will actually unclog your nose. 281 00:24:46,600 --> 00:24:53,600 And so I was doing that like one time every day maybe. 282 00:24:53,600 --> 00:24:55,600 And sometimes I'd miss it. 283 00:24:55,600 --> 00:24:58,600 Like I was not consistent at all. 284 00:24:58,600 --> 00:25:01,600 And even today I wasn't consistent. 285 00:25:01,600 --> 00:25:09,600 And so what I came to the realization was that I need to add it to my routine. 286 00:25:09,600 --> 00:25:13,600 Because that's how you become successful at something. You add it to your routine. 287 00:25:13,600 --> 00:25:24,600 And so I'm thinking that I'm either going to wake up 10 minutes earlier or make the... 288 00:25:24,600 --> 00:25:28,600 Or take off 10 minutes from my studies. 289 00:25:28,600 --> 00:25:32,600 I haven't decided exactly what. 290 00:25:32,600 --> 00:25:38,600 But I am definitely going to be adding right after I shower. 291 00:25:38,600 --> 00:25:40,600 I'm going to get dressed quickly. 292 00:25:40,600 --> 00:25:45,600 And depending on the weather, I'm going to be walking outside barefoot and shortlist. 293 00:25:45,600 --> 00:25:51,600 But since it's becoming fall and winter time soon and it's coming, 294 00:25:51,600 --> 00:25:56,600 I'm probably going to be walking just barefoot maybe. 295 00:25:56,600 --> 00:26:00,600 And it's going to be at like 4.30 in the morning. 296 00:26:00,600 --> 00:26:02,600 Because that's when I'm done showering. 297 00:26:02,600 --> 00:26:07,600 And then I'm basically just going to walk around my block, which will take like... 298 00:26:07,600 --> 00:26:11,600 I'm going to time it the first time I do it to see how long it takes. 299 00:26:11,600 --> 00:26:17,600 But I'm basically going to time how long it takes me to do eight sets of that nose and blocking exercise. 300 00:26:17,600 --> 00:26:25,600 So basically you walk and then you... until you have the strongest urge to breathe and then you breathe again. 301 00:26:25,600 --> 00:26:31,600 But then you take like a one or two minute rest and then you go again. 302 00:26:31,600 --> 00:26:38,600 So I figured that each time it will be like... 303 00:26:38,600 --> 00:26:41,600 Actually maybe it will be 20 minutes. I don't know. 304 00:26:41,600 --> 00:26:44,600 Maybe it will take 20 minutes. 305 00:26:44,600 --> 00:26:47,600 In that case I'll definitely have to wake up at like 3.30. 306 00:26:47,600 --> 00:26:49,600 I don't know. We'll see. 307 00:26:49,600 --> 00:26:55,600 But that whole exercise is huge. 308 00:26:55,600 --> 00:27:03,600 I'll just walk around outside and do eight sets. 309 00:27:03,600 --> 00:27:10,600 Because I know that improving my breathing is huge because it lowers your serotonin, 310 00:27:10,600 --> 00:27:15,600 which makes you more awake and it also allows you to be more healthy. 311 00:27:15,600 --> 00:27:17,600 It increases your energy levels. 312 00:27:17,600 --> 00:27:22,600 The list goes on and on of reasons why you should improve your breathing. 313 00:27:22,600 --> 00:27:28,600 And there's like no... I don't really know of any reasons why you shouldn't. 314 00:27:28,600 --> 00:27:35,600 And the only thing that's stopping me from improving my breathing is simple laziness. 315 00:27:35,600 --> 00:27:44,600 Or just me not having like the motivation, but me just not putting enough effort or attention into it. 316 00:27:44,600 --> 00:27:48,600 But that's going to end soon and I'm going to... 317 00:27:48,600 --> 00:27:57,600 I'm going to test it out tomorrow with my current routine and then see how it affects everything to follow that. 318 00:27:57,600 --> 00:28:08,600 Let me get some water. 319 00:28:08,600 --> 00:28:12,600 Alright, so I want to talk about this thing that I learned this morning. 320 00:28:12,600 --> 00:28:19,600 And in Transurfing I read it through the first time very quickly. 321 00:28:19,600 --> 00:28:23,600 Like 50 pages a day towards the end of me reading. 322 00:28:23,600 --> 00:28:29,600 And reading Transurfing 50 pages a day is a lot. 323 00:28:29,600 --> 00:28:38,600 And I retained barely any of that information and it's obvious that I didn't because 324 00:28:38,600 --> 00:28:43,600 I forgot about the longest chapter in that book, which is called, 325 00:28:43,600 --> 00:28:46,600 Dance with Shadows. I'm pretty sure it's called that. 326 00:28:46,600 --> 00:28:50,600 But Dance with Shadows is basically... 327 00:28:50,600 --> 00:28:53,600 It's the longest chapter in the entire book. 328 00:28:53,600 --> 00:29:02,600 And that should point towards like a pretty obvious thing that maybe that's one of the best chapters in the book. 329 00:29:02,600 --> 00:29:05,600 And maybe it's the most important chapter in the book. 330 00:29:05,600 --> 00:29:13,600 And so I just started it this morning and right off the bat, the first thing that I learned is huge. 331 00:29:13,600 --> 00:29:21,600 I learned about how boredom does not really... it's not really a thing. 332 00:29:21,600 --> 00:29:23,600 So boredom is basically... 333 00:29:23,600 --> 00:29:26,600 So here, let me explain this first. 334 00:29:26,600 --> 00:29:31,600 Every human action, every animal action comes down to one thing. 335 00:29:31,600 --> 00:29:37,600 And that one thing is not like the urge to reproduce or the need for survival. 336 00:29:37,600 --> 00:29:45,600 That one thing is the desire to control one's own reality. 337 00:29:45,600 --> 00:29:50,600 That is what stems from all human behaviors. 338 00:29:50,600 --> 00:29:55,600 The desire to control one's own reality. 339 00:29:55,600 --> 00:30:03,600 Now, this is basically like the stem of all actions, of animals as well. 340 00:30:03,600 --> 00:30:12,600 And so what humans tend to do is they try to control their reality straight on. 341 00:30:12,600 --> 00:30:15,600 And they try to use inner intention as what it's called. 342 00:30:15,600 --> 00:30:23,600 It's basically they try to directly influence the course of events in reality. 343 00:30:23,600 --> 00:30:34,600 And what this does is it actually is not... it kind of goes against what the world actually wants for you. 344 00:30:34,600 --> 00:30:36,600 Kind of. Let me explain. 345 00:30:36,600 --> 00:30:43,600 So you're kind of fighting against the world if you use that method. 346 00:30:43,600 --> 00:30:46,600 And this method is what most people do. 347 00:30:46,600 --> 00:30:50,600 And so what Transurfing offers is a completely different way. 348 00:30:50,600 --> 00:30:56,600 It's a way to allow the world to meet you halfway and allow the world to do it for you. 349 00:30:56,600 --> 00:31:01,600 And I'm like... I just read this this morning. 350 00:31:01,600 --> 00:31:07,600 So bear with me if I have not really gotten my thoughts like straightened out on this topic. 351 00:31:07,600 --> 00:31:15,600 But basically when people realize that they can't control reality because they're using their own intention. 352 00:31:15,600 --> 00:31:18,600 They're using inner intention to control reality. 353 00:31:18,600 --> 00:31:23,600 They're trying to influence it directly is basically what they're trying to do. 354 00:31:23,600 --> 00:31:34,600 And when they realize they can't do that, they still need to fulfill this desire to manage their own reality. 355 00:31:34,600 --> 00:31:37,600 So what they do is they play a game instead. 356 00:31:37,600 --> 00:31:42,600 They play the game of playing, which is what kids do. 357 00:31:42,600 --> 00:31:51,600 Or if you've grown up and you've been socialized into this, conditioned into this way of thinking by society. 358 00:31:51,600 --> 00:31:53,600 They play the game of work. 359 00:31:53,600 --> 00:31:55,600 Like I'm doing important work. 360 00:31:55,600 --> 00:31:58,600 I'm working on my... I'm doing work for my career. 361 00:31:58,600 --> 00:32:08,600 And that's basically what they do so they can fulfill that urge to feel like they're creating their own destiny. 362 00:32:08,600 --> 00:32:11,600 Or like controlling their own reality basically. 363 00:32:11,600 --> 00:32:13,600 They play a game. 364 00:32:13,600 --> 00:32:17,600 And what happens is people become immersed in the game of life. 365 00:32:17,600 --> 00:32:22,600 So they become too immersed and they become too immersed in their roles. 366 00:32:22,600 --> 00:32:29,600 So it's basically an actor of a movie is aware that they're just acting. 367 00:32:29,600 --> 00:32:36,600 And so they can do it with like a grain of indifference or emptiness. 368 00:32:36,600 --> 00:32:43,600 Because they're aware that what is happening in the show that they're acting in is not real. 369 00:32:43,600 --> 00:32:46,600 So they don't really place emotional attachment to it. 370 00:32:46,600 --> 00:32:51,600 Now if an actor were to get too immersed, they would forget that it's not real. 371 00:32:51,600 --> 00:32:54,600 And they become immersed in the game. 372 00:32:54,600 --> 00:32:56,600 And they start playing the game. 373 00:32:56,600 --> 00:33:06,600 And this is basically what happens when they realize they can't control their own reality. 374 00:33:06,600 --> 00:33:11,600 So they find a way to control their own reality by creating a game with its own set. 375 00:33:11,600 --> 00:33:19,600 Rules and script and set outcome that they can know what's going to happen and they can control. 376 00:33:19,600 --> 00:33:26,600 Now what boredom is boredom is basically the absence of controlling your own reality. 377 00:33:26,600 --> 00:33:34,600 So anytime you're not controlling your own reality, you feel bored. 378 00:33:34,600 --> 00:33:39,600 So I haven't gotten very far into the chapter, but just talking about it right now, 379 00:33:39,600 --> 00:33:48,600 I kind of made the connection of a lot of times people like when you're first getting into meditation, you're bored. 380 00:33:48,600 --> 00:33:53,600 And I was definitely feeling this a couple of weeks ago. 381 00:33:53,600 --> 00:34:00,600 And even today I think, a lot of times I get bored when I'm meditating. 382 00:34:00,600 --> 00:34:07,600 And with this new knowledge, that boredom basically, now I can become conscious of the fact that, 383 00:34:07,600 --> 00:34:17,600 or aware of the fact that boredom stems from me not fulfilling my desire to influence the world. 384 00:34:17,600 --> 00:34:19,600 Or me not being able to influence the world. 385 00:34:19,600 --> 00:34:21,600 Or I don't know exactly. 386 00:34:21,600 --> 00:34:25,600 I'll have to touch on this more tomorrow. 387 00:34:25,600 --> 00:34:31,600 But if boredom stems from that, well then I can change my relationship. 388 00:34:31,600 --> 00:34:39,600 Because I, a lot of times I think that meditation is not... 389 00:34:39,600 --> 00:34:47,600 Well obviously since I get bored during meditation, I feel as though I'm not controlling my own reality. 390 00:34:47,600 --> 00:34:53,600 But what I can do is now that I know the principles of Transurfing, if I get bored during meditation, 391 00:34:53,600 --> 00:34:59,600 I can simply just remind myself that this is allowing me to become more effective at controlling my reality. 392 00:34:59,600 --> 00:35:01,600 And then the boredom may disappear. 393 00:35:01,600 --> 00:35:14,600 I don't know exactly what I'll do moving forward, but I'm going to start being conscious of the fact that boredom simply is not controlling reality. 394 00:35:14,600 --> 00:35:16,600 Me not controlling reality. 395 00:35:16,600 --> 00:35:25,600 So maybe boredom is actually a good thing because when people strive to control reality directly, 396 00:35:25,600 --> 00:35:35,600 their results or their, like what comes out of that is actually very damaging and very bad for them. 397 00:35:35,600 --> 00:35:43,600 Because what ends up happening is they just dig themselves into the hole and they have a hard time getting out. 398 00:35:43,600 --> 00:35:49,600 That's basically where I'm at right now in Transurfing. 399 00:35:49,600 --> 00:35:56,600 And I've got a couple days until I get that. 400 00:35:56,600 --> 00:36:03,600 I've got a couple days until I'm done, or a couple weeks actually until I'm done with the book. 401 00:36:03,600 --> 00:36:14,600 And also, oh I just realized, as of the time that this recording is going to be uploaded, 402 00:36:14,600 --> 00:36:19,600 when this podcast gets posted, I'll be 18. 403 00:36:19,600 --> 00:36:25,600 My birthday is September 17th, so I'll have been 18 for like two days, I think. 404 00:36:25,600 --> 00:36:26,600 So that's huge. 405 00:36:26,600 --> 00:36:29,600 Like that is one of the milestones of my business journey. 406 00:36:29,600 --> 00:36:41,600 Like all summer I've been kind of preparing for me being 18 and I would actually, I actually like counted the amount of days until my birthday. 407 00:36:41,600 --> 00:36:48,600 I would count like, oh I have 70 days until my birthday, or oh I have 60 days or 50 days. 408 00:36:48,600 --> 00:36:57,600 And it's because I basically said once I am 18 I'll be able to collect payments because I'll be able to have a payment processor. 409 00:36:57,600 --> 00:37:07,600 Now, in hindsight though, that was all like just me using an excuse not to get after it and not get the work that needs to be done done. 410 00:37:07,600 --> 00:37:11,600 And it doesn't really change much now that I'm turning 18. 411 00:37:11,600 --> 00:37:23,600 I'll, as of now, my plans may change as things progress, especially once I get into this gateway experience, which I want to talk more about. 412 00:37:23,600 --> 00:37:28,600 This gateway experience is a deep meditation. 413 00:37:28,600 --> 00:37:34,600 So the first set, the first wave is all about Focus 10. 414 00:37:34,600 --> 00:37:39,600 Now Focus 10 is the first state of like expanded awareness. 415 00:37:39,600 --> 00:37:42,600 It's basically body asleep, mind awake. 416 00:37:42,600 --> 00:37:51,600 So your body is asleep, but your mind is fully awake and aware and focused about what is happening. 417 00:37:51,600 --> 00:37:57,600 And so if you can imagine that, you're basically, your body is completely asleep. 418 00:37:57,600 --> 00:38:02,600 But your mind is aware, so you can like just meditate very deeply. 419 00:38:02,600 --> 00:38:15,600 And even in that first stage, I predict that things will get beneficial because, or things will change for the better because I've never been in an expanded state of awareness before. 420 00:38:15,600 --> 00:38:24,600 Like the deepest meditation I've ever had was, I talked about it, I think on episode 20 maybe, around there. 421 00:38:24,600 --> 00:38:30,600 And that was the deepest meditation I've ever had where it was a very sunny day. 422 00:38:30,600 --> 00:38:33,600 Sun was beating down, it was warm out. 423 00:38:33,600 --> 00:38:42,600 And me and my friend were at the park in the grass and we were just laying there, shirtless and barefoot. 424 00:38:42,600 --> 00:38:47,600 And we just laid there and meditated on our backs. 425 00:38:47,600 --> 00:38:49,600 Layed on our backs and meditated. 426 00:38:49,600 --> 00:38:57,600 And I got so deep of meditation, I kind of discovered that there was stages to meditation. 427 00:38:57,600 --> 00:39:01,600 I had no idea, I had just like realized this. 428 00:39:01,600 --> 00:39:05,600 I hadn't really looked into it, researched anything about this beforehand. 429 00:39:05,600 --> 00:39:12,600 But I kind of realized it and came to that epiphany and conclusion that there were stages to meditation. 430 00:39:12,600 --> 00:39:17,600 And I had gone through a few different stages at that time. 431 00:39:17,600 --> 00:39:23,600 And so I was, that's kind of the conclusion that I came to that. 432 00:39:23,600 --> 00:39:31,600 But now that I know about the gateway process, this is actually a real thing about how there's actually stages to meditation. 433 00:39:31,600 --> 00:39:38,600 And the deeper you get, the more expanded your consciousness is and the more aware you are. 434 00:39:38,600 --> 00:39:43,600 And that's like, that is awesome. 435 00:39:43,600 --> 00:39:52,600 Like that is so awesome to me that I was able to get into that state without the gateways, like without hemisync. 436 00:39:52,600 --> 00:39:57,600 Now, after trying to replicate it, I was not able to replicate it. 437 00:39:57,600 --> 00:40:00,600 Because I feel like there's many different factors. 438 00:40:00,600 --> 00:40:07,600 One, on that day I was extremely relaxed and I was laying in the grass, in the dirt, like in the grass. 439 00:40:07,600 --> 00:40:16,600 And so my body was able to kind of like, or the grass was kind of able to like shape to my body. 440 00:40:16,600 --> 00:40:22,600 So I was able to have like the perfect laying experience. 441 00:40:22,600 --> 00:40:29,600 Whereas every time I try to replicate it, I'm in my room on my Tami mat, where the mat is firm and hard. 442 00:40:29,600 --> 00:40:34,600 And my body can't, the mat can't really shape to my body. 443 00:40:34,600 --> 00:40:39,600 So that is one of the reasons. 444 00:40:39,600 --> 00:40:42,600 So I couldn't really get into so deep of a relaxation. 445 00:40:42,600 --> 00:40:48,600 One of the reasons, maybe the sun helped, another reason is maybe the, there's this thing called grounding, 446 00:40:48,600 --> 00:40:53,600 where you basically are standing on the ground of the earth. 447 00:40:53,600 --> 00:41:00,600 And it's like very beneficial for us. It's very healthy for us to do. 448 00:41:00,600 --> 00:41:05,600 So maybe the grounding helped. 449 00:41:05,600 --> 00:41:14,600 There's many different reasons, but now that I've got Hemisync and also all these stars aligned, 450 00:41:14,600 --> 00:41:22,600 like many times throughout my life, I'm kind of in a period of not really knowing what's going on. 451 00:41:22,600 --> 00:41:25,600 And many different things accumulate. 452 00:41:25,600 --> 00:41:28,600 Like recently, I accumulated many different things. 453 00:41:28,600 --> 00:41:31,600 So I had accumulated my blanket. 454 00:41:31,600 --> 00:41:36,600 I got a new blanket, which is a cotton blanket. It's, and it's a light. 455 00:41:36,600 --> 00:41:41,600 And then I accumulated, I just accumulated a lot of different things. 456 00:41:41,600 --> 00:41:43,600 And then I didn't really know how they all lined up. 457 00:41:43,600 --> 00:41:55,600 And so I, after, like just before I was recording this podcast, where I was reading the booklet that came with the gateway experience tapes that I got. 458 00:41:55,600 --> 00:42:02,600 And it kind of aligned because that, that blanket that I got has a purpose for this gateway experience. 459 00:42:02,600 --> 00:42:07,600 And then the other blanket I got, like my room is perfectly formed for the gateway experience. 460 00:42:07,600 --> 00:42:13,600 And so that is one way of the stars aligning without me realizing how. 461 00:42:13,600 --> 00:42:17,600 And this brings me back to what I was talking about yesterday. 462 00:42:17,600 --> 00:42:22,600 I was talking about the, the forest analogy. 463 00:42:22,600 --> 00:42:30,600 So basically when you are going towards your goals, so the path towards your goals. 464 00:42:30,600 --> 00:42:34,600 So the setting is a dark forest. 465 00:42:34,600 --> 00:42:42,600 So you're in a dark forest at nighttime. You can't see anything, but you're given a torch and you are also given the general direction. 466 00:42:42,600 --> 00:42:46,600 You know the general direction of where your goal is. 467 00:42:46,600 --> 00:42:53,600 So you know your goal is like northeast, but you don't know the exact coordinates. 468 00:42:53,600 --> 00:42:59,600 So you're, and you have a torch and you can only see like one step in front of you. 469 00:42:59,600 --> 00:43:05,600 That is basically, that's life. This is, I'm describing life and moving towards your goals right now. 470 00:43:05,600 --> 00:43:12,600 And so transfer first, what transfer first do is they know the direction of their goal. 471 00:43:12,600 --> 00:43:19,600 And they carry the torch and they just start walking towards their goal, placing one foot in front of the other. 472 00:43:19,600 --> 00:43:25,600 And every time they experience a problem, like let's say there's a snake on the, in the road. 473 00:43:25,600 --> 00:43:29,600 They instantly reduce importance, change your relationship to that problem. 474 00:43:29,600 --> 00:43:32,600 And then the snake will slither away of its own accord. 475 00:43:32,600 --> 00:43:37,600 And they allow the, the event to play out of on its own. 476 00:43:37,600 --> 00:43:41,600 So they don't try and chuck the snake away. They don't try and kill the snake. 477 00:43:41,600 --> 00:43:45,600 They try and let the snake leave on its own. 478 00:43:45,600 --> 00:43:54,600 And then as they keep walking towards their goals, eventually they get to the point. 479 00:43:54,600 --> 00:44:08,600 Well, let's, all right. First of all, while they're walking towards their goals, they're also visualizing their, like what they're visualizing themselves as they've already achieved the goal. 480 00:44:08,600 --> 00:44:17,600 So that's allowing them to attune their brain waves, like their, their energy, their mental energy to that goal's frequency. 481 00:44:17,600 --> 00:44:21,600 And then it's allowing them to walk towards that goal. 482 00:44:21,600 --> 00:44:29,600 Now, while all this is happening, this is basically you traveling across the alternative space. 483 00:44:29,600 --> 00:44:36,600 And while the most effective means of traveling across the alternative space, which in this case is the dark forest, 484 00:44:36,600 --> 00:44:53,600 the most effective means is to follow the coordination principle, which is to remain balanced, go with the flow, 485 00:44:53,600 --> 00:45:04,600 interpret every single event as positive, always have a positive outlook on situations, release your grip of control. 486 00:45:04,600 --> 00:45:11,600 And there's probably some more I'm blanking on it right now, but that's basically coordination. 487 00:45:11,600 --> 00:45:22,600 It's basically going with the flow and allowing, allowing yourself not to know the right path forward, like allowing yourself not to know the path forward. 488 00:45:22,600 --> 00:45:30,600 And that like, there's no way if you're in a dark forest, there's no way you're going to know the exact path because you've never been through this forest before. 489 00:45:30,600 --> 00:45:36,600 You've never been towards your goals. So you don't know like the right path forward. 490 00:45:36,600 --> 00:45:47,600 And so you're walking through a dark forest and you can only see so far as one more step in front of you, because that's how far your torch lights up. 491 00:45:47,600 --> 00:45:57,600 So you're, you can't know, you're like, it's impossible for you to know the, the path like you can't see that far ahead. 492 00:45:57,600 --> 00:46:09,600 But the mind tries to come up with the path. So imagine how absurd it would be if you were walking through that path in a dark forest and your mind created like this whole plan. 493 00:46:09,600 --> 00:46:14,600 Oh, there's going to be a branch right there. There's going to be a bush right there. There's going to be a river right there. 494 00:46:14,600 --> 00:46:19,600 And then once you get over there, you realize that none of those things are like that. 495 00:46:19,600 --> 00:46:24,600 Imagine how absurd that situation would be. There's no way for you to know. 496 00:46:24,600 --> 00:46:30,600 But this is exactly what people do in real life. They, and me included, you can even go back on this podcast. 497 00:46:30,600 --> 00:46:37,600 And I'm sure I'm still doing this today. Like even on this podcast, I'm still getting over this bad habit. 498 00:46:37,600 --> 00:46:45,600 You, everyone, like most people do this where they try and create an entire elaborate plan. 499 00:46:45,600 --> 00:47:00,600 Their mind tries to foresee all possible like situations and outcomes and failures. And like there's no way for the mind to be able to calculate every single outcome or even calculate the most optimal path forward. 500 00:47:00,600 --> 00:47:08,600 Like the, the only the world knows the right path forward. Only the world knows where those branches are, where the river is. 501 00:47:08,600 --> 00:47:16,600 Only the world knows where you're like the path towards your goal. So just surrender to that fact and then go with the flow. 502 00:47:16,600 --> 00:47:28,600 Just place one foot in front of the other. Anytime you encounter a snake, reduce your importance, change your relationship to it and allow the snake to leave of its own accord. 503 00:47:28,600 --> 00:47:36,600 Like don't try and kill it. Don't try and manipulate that situation. Don't try and control it. Release your grip of control. 504 00:47:36,600 --> 00:47:49,600 And this is, this is basically how we should be. Oh, okay. This is another principle of coordination is to unify the heart and the mind act in accordance with the heart and the mind. 505 00:47:49,600 --> 00:47:59,600 So listen to your heart. This is another analogy I gave yesterday where imagine if you tried to bike 100 miles. 506 00:47:59,600 --> 00:48:13,600 Okay. That would be pretty hard, but it's definitely doable. Now imagine trying to bike where your back tire was spinning in a different direction. 507 00:48:13,600 --> 00:48:23,600 It was tilted to the right a little bit and then your front tire was tilted to the left a little bit. Imagine trying to bike like that. 508 00:48:23,600 --> 00:48:32,600 Now that probably wouldn't work very well. It would take you maybe 30 years to get 100 miles. It would take you a long time. 509 00:48:32,600 --> 00:48:43,600 Now, how can you move more effectively? Well, you simply just unite the front tire and the back tire and get them in agreement. 510 00:48:43,600 --> 00:48:53,600 Unify them and align their desires and align their interests and their feelings and thoughts into one direction. 511 00:48:53,600 --> 00:49:02,600 And once you can do that, your bike is optimal and you're moving. You can travel 100 miles in a day. 512 00:49:02,600 --> 00:49:09,600 That is basically what we're doing in a day to day basis. Many people don't listen to their heart. 513 00:49:09,600 --> 00:49:18,600 And as a result, their heart and mind are facing opposite directions and they're basically doing different things. 514 00:49:18,600 --> 00:49:22,600 And by the way, the heart and the mind is the right and left side of the brain. 515 00:49:22,600 --> 00:49:27,600 So the left side of the brain is the mind and then the right side of the brain is the heart. 516 00:49:27,600 --> 00:49:31,600 And this stuff is all the right side feels and those things. 517 00:49:31,600 --> 00:49:39,600 And then the left side analyzes things from the external world and is like logical and uses reasoning. 518 00:49:39,600 --> 00:49:48,600 And this is actually scientific fact. Like this stuff is facts. You can look up like what is the functioning of the right hemisphere of the brain 519 00:49:48,600 --> 00:49:51,600 and what is functioning of the left hemisphere of the brain. 520 00:49:51,600 --> 00:49:56,600 So I actually haven't looked that up. I just learned it in the CIA document. 521 00:49:56,600 --> 00:50:01,600 I'm actually going to look that up today just in case it's not even true. 522 00:50:01,600 --> 00:50:04,600 I'm sure it is true because I learned it in the CIA document. 523 00:50:04,600 --> 00:50:11,600 But that is basically your brain. 524 00:50:11,600 --> 00:50:18,600 So the functionality of the brain is to perceive information from the external world. 525 00:50:18,600 --> 00:50:21,600 Take it in and interpret it. 526 00:50:21,600 --> 00:50:25,600 Now there's actually a second functionality to the brain. 527 00:50:25,600 --> 00:50:29,600 So the brain has two basically roles. 528 00:50:29,600 --> 00:50:32,600 Like two things that it's responsible for. 529 00:50:32,600 --> 00:50:35,600 One is to take in information and analyze it and interpret it. 530 00:50:35,600 --> 00:50:39,600 But the second is to listen to the whisperings of the heart. 531 00:50:39,600 --> 00:50:46,600 So the left side is actually supposed to listen to the right side because the right side has some valuable input. 532 00:50:46,600 --> 00:50:50,600 Because it has feelings and it feels and knows things. 533 00:50:50,600 --> 00:50:54,600 So it can give you intuition and it can give you some very good insight. 534 00:50:54,600 --> 00:50:59,600 So whenever you're making a decision just remember to listen to the rustle of the morning stars. 535 00:50:59,600 --> 00:51:02,600 Which is to listen to the whisperings of the heart. 536 00:51:02,600 --> 00:51:07,600 Listen to your gut. Listen to your heart and listen to what it's trying to say. 537 00:51:07,600 --> 00:51:14,600 Now I had always assumed up until today that the gut and the heart are the same thing. 538 00:51:14,600 --> 00:51:19,600 But today I questioned it because I was actually talking to my mom about it. 539 00:51:19,600 --> 00:51:24,600 And she is very into enneagrams. 540 00:51:24,600 --> 00:51:27,600 And I don't really know what an enneagram is. 541 00:51:27,600 --> 00:51:30,600 But just from what my mom and my dad have talked about it. 542 00:51:30,600 --> 00:51:33,600 It's basically like a personality test I think. 543 00:51:33,600 --> 00:51:36,600 And there are three types of people. 544 00:51:36,600 --> 00:51:40,600 One is the person that listens to the mind. 545 00:51:40,600 --> 00:51:45,600 And then she showed me this graph or this chart in her enneagram book. 546 00:51:45,600 --> 00:51:50,600 And the one is the person that listens to the mind. 547 00:51:50,600 --> 00:51:52,600 And then the other is listens to the gut. 548 00:51:52,600 --> 00:51:54,600 And then the other is listens to the heart. 549 00:51:54,600 --> 00:51:58,600 So that got me thinking like maybe the gut and the heart are different things. 550 00:51:58,600 --> 00:52:02,600 I'd always assume they are the same but I don't know. 551 00:52:02,600 --> 00:52:07,600 I'll have to look more into that moving forward. 552 00:52:07,600 --> 00:52:11,600 But I don't think it's of great importance at the moment. 553 00:52:11,600 --> 00:52:14,600 So I'm not really too worried about it. 554 00:52:14,600 --> 00:52:18,600 But that's just something that I kind of learned today. 555 00:52:18,600 --> 00:52:23,600 That I came to the realization of today. 556 00:52:23,600 --> 00:52:28,600 Maybe or maybe not it is like true or not. 557 00:52:28,600 --> 00:52:31,600 I don't know. Who knows. 558 00:52:31,600 --> 00:52:35,600 But looking forward I'm really into, 559 00:52:35,600 --> 00:52:38,600 I'm really excited to get into this gateway stuff. 560 00:52:38,600 --> 00:52:41,600 And I'm very excited to get into this reading list. 561 00:52:41,600 --> 00:52:45,600 If there are two things that I think are going to change me moving forward, 562 00:52:45,600 --> 00:52:49,600 is the gateway experience and the reading list. 563 00:52:49,600 --> 00:52:54,600 Those are the two biggest things that are going to push me along my growth. 564 00:52:54,600 --> 00:53:04,600 And also I see the improving my breathing as improving. 565 00:53:04,600 --> 00:53:09,600 I don't see it necessarily as changing me as much as improving me 566 00:53:09,600 --> 00:53:13,600 to make me more capable and higher functioning. 567 00:53:13,600 --> 00:53:17,600 So when I'm talking about the gateway experience, 568 00:53:17,600 --> 00:53:22,600 I'm thinking like this is going to expand my consciousness. 569 00:53:22,600 --> 00:53:26,600 Allow me to see things and know things. 570 00:53:26,600 --> 00:53:31,600 And expand my beliefs and knowledge base. 571 00:53:31,600 --> 00:53:36,600 It's so hard to explain and I have just learned through reading about this stuff. 572 00:53:36,600 --> 00:53:39,600 I've never really applied it. 573 00:53:39,600 --> 00:53:44,600 So it's not until I actually apply it and have some success with it 574 00:53:44,600 --> 00:53:50,600 until I truly become knowledgeable enough to actually talk about it. 575 00:53:50,600 --> 00:54:00,600 Excuse me.
