1 00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:08,400 Your mind is so powerful that it can kill you. Your mind is so powerful that it can affect your reality. 2 00:00:09,040 --> 00:00:15,140 Let me tell you a quick story that I learned about in a book called The Law of Success in 16 Lessons. 3 00:00:15,140 --> 00:00:22,300 In that book, I heard of an experiment where a man was sentenced to death by the guillotine. 4 00:00:22,300 --> 00:00:28,000 And this was back, way back then, when there were still guillotines around. 5 00:00:28,000 --> 00:00:36,600 So this man was sentenced to death and there were people that were actually wanted to run an experiment on him. 6 00:00:36,600 --> 00:00:42,600 So he got placed on the block, got blindfolded, everything's as usual. 7 00:00:42,600 --> 00:00:48,000 And so he is about to get his head chopped off by the guillotine. 8 00:00:48,000 --> 00:00:58,500 And the experiment is to actually trick his mind into believing that he got killed, but not actually kill him. 9 00:00:58,500 --> 00:01:04,600 So what they did was they took out the blade of the guillotine and they just put a block. 10 00:01:04,600 --> 00:01:15,600 So he was under the guillotine and then they released it and then he got hit in the back of the head by a block. 11 00:01:15,600 --> 00:01:25,600 And then they poured warm water on the back of his neck to simulate blood. 12 00:01:25,600 --> 00:01:32,800 And then they had water dripping down to simulate blood dripping. 13 00:01:32,800 --> 00:01:42,600 So this whole sensation, this man is experiencing what he believes to be his death. 14 00:01:42,600 --> 00:01:46,600 And his mind actually believes it. 15 00:01:46,600 --> 00:01:50,600 His mind actually kills the man. The man dies from all of this. 16 00:01:50,600 --> 00:02:02,600 Even though no physical harm was done to him, all that happened was a block fell on his neck and then warm water was poured down his neck. 17 00:02:02,600 --> 00:02:09,600 That's all. He should have been alive, but his mind believed it so much that he actually died. 18 00:02:09,600 --> 00:02:20,600 Like his mind killed his body. So that's one story of how the mind can actually kill the body. 19 00:02:20,600 --> 00:02:28,600 Now let me tell you another story of how there was a researchers, they experimented with... 20 00:02:28,600 --> 00:02:38,600 They had a man and he was blindfolded and they were told that they're going to cut him. 21 00:02:38,600 --> 00:02:47,600 And so he is blindfolded and they take an ice cube and just rub it on his wrist. 22 00:02:47,600 --> 00:02:54,600 That's it. They just like slice an ice cube across his wrist. So no actual harm was done. 23 00:02:54,600 --> 00:03:06,600 And then after that, they pour warm water on the wrist and then pour warm water on the ground to simulate dripping, a dripping noise. 24 00:03:06,600 --> 00:03:14,600 So all of this simulated a knife cutting his wrist and blood flowing down. 25 00:03:14,600 --> 00:03:20,600 And this person was blindfolded so they didn't actually know whether it was true or not. 26 00:03:20,600 --> 00:03:25,600 And they felt pain. Their mind created pain. 27 00:03:25,600 --> 00:03:34,600 And after the fact they were... they took off the wristband and they saw that there was nothing there. 28 00:03:34,600 --> 00:03:41,600 But the fact of the matter is their mind created pain because that's what it believed. 29 00:03:41,600 --> 00:03:50,600 And so this all shows the value of your mind. And this... there's an underlying principle at play here. 30 00:03:50,600 --> 00:03:57,600 And it's called suggestion. It's called suggestion. 31 00:03:57,600 --> 00:04:06,600 And this is when you take in information from the outside and take it into your mind. 32 00:04:06,600 --> 00:04:12,600 This happens every day, even in the most simplest of scenarios. 33 00:04:12,600 --> 00:04:16,600 Right now I am suggesting to you this information. 34 00:04:16,600 --> 00:04:22,600 And whether you take it in or not is your choice, but more than likely you are taking it in. 35 00:04:22,600 --> 00:04:30,600 School does this. They suggest to you certain information, certain procedures, rules, 36 00:04:30,600 --> 00:04:35,600 and certain outcomes, all kinds of worldviews, all this stuff. 37 00:04:35,600 --> 00:04:42,600 This... another way that this can harm you is let's say you're on your way to work. 38 00:04:42,600 --> 00:04:52,600 And every single person you see calls... every single person you see says, oh, you look ill. 39 00:04:52,600 --> 00:04:59,600 You should go see a doctor. And then the next person, oh, you look ill. You should go see a doctor. 40 00:04:59,600 --> 00:05:05,600 Over time this will get to you and then by the end of the day you will truly feel ill. 41 00:05:05,600 --> 00:05:12,600 And you will be able to take in information from the outside. 42 00:05:12,600 --> 00:05:18,600 And then you will see that you are taking in information from the outside. 43 00:05:18,600 --> 00:05:21,600 And you will feel ill. 44 00:05:21,600 --> 00:05:26,600 And you will be able to take in information from the outside. 45 00:05:26,600 --> 00:05:29,600 And you will feel ill. 46 00:05:29,600 --> 00:05:38,600 So take this one more step further. Once you have the facts, you can say, is this relevant to the fulfillment of my purpose? 47 00:05:38,600 --> 00:05:40,600 Or is it not? 48 00:05:40,600 --> 00:05:45,600 And all this stuff that's not relevant, you dismiss. You don't listen to, you don't allow in. 49 00:05:45,600 --> 00:05:48,600 But all this stuff that is relevant, you take in. 50 00:05:48,600 --> 00:05:54,600 So the people that say you look ill, you dismiss. You don't take it in. 51 00:05:54,600 --> 00:06:00,600 Because your mind can actually choose to get sick. 52 00:06:00,600 --> 00:06:03,600 Now to explain this, let me tell you a story. 53 00:06:03,600 --> 00:06:09,600 For the past couple, for the past year, I've been reading a little bit less than a year. 54 00:06:09,600 --> 00:06:15,600 For the past nine months, I've been reading a book on and off called Reality Transurfing. 55 00:06:15,600 --> 00:06:22,600 And in this book I learned about how your thoughts affect your reality, how you can control your reality. 56 00:06:22,600 --> 00:06:30,600 And there's one principle that I realized was your thinking can actually affect the outcomes of things. 57 00:06:30,600 --> 00:06:37,600 So there's an induced transition that happens when you take on the sickness game. 58 00:06:37,600 --> 00:06:40,600 So let's say someone is sick in your house. 59 00:06:40,600 --> 00:06:46,600 You can choose to worry and hope that you don't get sick. 60 00:06:46,600 --> 00:06:49,600 And more than likely you will get sick. 61 00:06:49,600 --> 00:06:53,600 Or you can choose to stay healthy. 62 00:06:53,600 --> 00:06:56,600 You can choose to remind yourself that you are healthy. 63 00:06:56,600 --> 00:07:01,600 You can choose to not allow the fact that someone is sick into your worldview. 64 00:07:01,600 --> 00:07:07,600 You can choose to not allow that to affect you. 65 00:07:07,600 --> 00:07:14,600 Now yes, there are instances where no matter how powerful your mind thinking is, you may still get sick. 66 00:07:14,600 --> 00:07:20,600 But in all of the everyday scenarios, you can avoid being sick. 67 00:07:20,600 --> 00:07:22,600 Napoleon the Great. 68 00:07:22,600 --> 00:07:30,600 There is one event where all of his men were getting the plague or some illness. 69 00:07:30,600 --> 00:07:33,600 I don't know, like the black death or something. 70 00:07:33,600 --> 00:07:36,600 All of his men were getting illness. 71 00:07:36,600 --> 00:07:38,600 And this was during a war. 72 00:07:38,600 --> 00:07:42,600 So Napoleon the Great, this commander of the army. 73 00:07:42,600 --> 00:07:47,600 He realized that all the men didn't, they were just worried about getting sick. 74 00:07:47,600 --> 00:07:50,600 They were allowing the sickness into their worldview. 75 00:07:50,600 --> 00:07:55,600 But Napoleon the Great did not allow it into his worldview. 76 00:07:55,600 --> 00:07:59,600 He didn't even think that he could get sick from them. 77 00:07:59,600 --> 00:08:03,600 He didn't even give it a moment of thought. 78 00:08:03,600 --> 00:08:09,600 So much so that he showed his men, he walked up to two sick individuals. 79 00:08:09,600 --> 00:08:18,600 And started demonstrating that he will not get sick from them because he will not accept it into his thinking. 80 00:08:18,600 --> 00:08:23,600 And so all of his men that were getting sick were getting worried that they were going to get sick. 81 00:08:23,600 --> 00:08:29,600 And so the healthy men became sick men because that's what their thoughts permitted. 82 00:08:29,600 --> 00:08:33,600 Napoleon the Great didn't get sick because he didn't permit that to happen. 83 00:08:33,600 --> 00:08:35,600 And I have a personal anecdote. 84 00:08:35,600 --> 00:08:41,600 I've actually experienced this multiple times where a family member was sick in my house. 85 00:08:41,600 --> 00:08:46,600 And I chose not to even give it a moment of thought. 86 00:08:46,600 --> 00:08:52,600 And I chose to maintain the health, healthy worldview, healthy mindset. 87 00:08:52,600 --> 00:08:57,600 And just recently one of my family members had COVID. 88 00:08:57,600 --> 00:09:04,600 And it was a high stakes moment for me because I had used up. 89 00:09:04,600 --> 00:09:10,600 I'm a high school student right now and I'm graduating early. 90 00:09:10,600 --> 00:09:13,600 And so right now it's December 14th. 91 00:09:13,600 --> 00:09:17,600 And my last day of class is December 21st. 92 00:09:17,600 --> 00:09:23,600 And December 21st is the last day of school for me ever because I'm graduating early and I'm not going to college. 93 00:09:23,600 --> 00:09:35,600 But in my school there's a rule, a policy where if you have 12 absences or more, then you fail that class. 94 00:09:35,600 --> 00:09:42,600 And so if I had 12 absences, then I would end up failing a class and I'd have to redo the entire semester 95 00:09:42,600 --> 00:09:46,600 so I wouldn't be allowed to graduate early. 96 00:09:46,600 --> 00:09:48,600 So this was a high stakes moment. 97 00:09:48,600 --> 00:09:50,600 I had a lot to lose. 98 00:09:50,600 --> 00:09:54,600 But you know what I did? I maintained my health. 99 00:09:54,600 --> 00:09:59,600 I didn't worry about getting sick because I know that worrying one is useless. 100 00:09:59,600 --> 00:10:05,600 Two, it's actually detrimental to me because it is vibrating at that same frequency as getting sick. 101 00:10:05,600 --> 00:10:09,600 So it's allowing it to get into my world, into my life. 102 00:10:09,600 --> 00:10:13,600 So I did not even allow it into my worldview. 103 00:10:13,600 --> 00:10:18,600 Every single time sickness was brought up, I just dismissed it into my mind. 104 00:10:18,600 --> 00:10:25,600 I realized that yes, it's factual, but no, it does not help me achieve my purpose. 105 00:10:25,600 --> 00:10:31,600 And there was actually an instance where I felt the symptoms coming on. 106 00:10:31,600 --> 00:10:36,600 I had kind of a tired, I was feeling tired. 107 00:10:36,600 --> 00:10:38,600 I had a slight sore throat. 108 00:10:38,600 --> 00:10:44,600 I had a slight runny nose and I like this thing on my neck. 109 00:10:44,600 --> 00:10:51,600 There's like a ball that I never noticed, but it kind of like was tender. 110 00:10:51,600 --> 00:10:56,600 I don't know how to describe it, but there was a moment where I had all these symptoms. 111 00:10:56,600 --> 00:10:59,600 This was the onset of the illness. 112 00:10:59,600 --> 00:11:02,600 And you know what I did? I ignored it. 113 00:11:02,600 --> 00:11:05,600 I didn't even give it a moment thought. 114 00:11:05,600 --> 00:11:09,600 And when it came up into my mind, I instantly dismissed it 115 00:11:09,600 --> 00:11:12,600 because I knew that this was not going to serve me. 116 00:11:12,600 --> 00:11:14,600 This was actually me detrimental to me. 117 00:11:14,600 --> 00:11:20,600 And the fact of the matter is that I have already used eight of my sick days. 118 00:11:20,600 --> 00:11:28,600 So if I got sick, then I probably more than likely would either one have to just tough it out 119 00:11:28,600 --> 00:11:34,600 and still go to school or two redo an entire semester of class 120 00:11:34,600 --> 00:11:37,600 when I was planning on graduating early. 121 00:11:37,600 --> 00:11:46,600 I would have to spend 1000 more hours sitting in a classroom, rotting away. 122 00:11:46,600 --> 00:12:08,600 But I understood the power of the mind and I applied the principles that I've learned in the books that I've read.
